1) he's dumb, never seen him in kinda fight the required more thought an skill from him then 'punch with right, then with left' or, fly threw a wall when there's a perfectly good door he could use -.- but that's a brain function beyond him.

2) he's a over grown boyscout, on the one hand, yeah its fine, he's lawful/good, but on the other, he's the most powerful hero of the DC line up, and NO ONE fears him, at all, sure maybe the odd thug here or there, but by an large no one's scared of him, and to me, if your a good guy, no matter how strong you are, if no ones thinking twice about messing with you, your doing something wrong

3) -.- his weakness ... is a fucking rock ... really? REALLY?!?! that was the best they could come up with, a fucking ROCK, sure its green an it glows, still a rock -.- still really fucking lame

Nathan Spencer is an arrogant douche who would rather curse his head off one moment while whooping and hollering as he flies through the air the next. He constantly berates Super Joe, talks down to the only female interest that isn't his wife/arm/brain (Spoilers.), and just seems like an all-around unpleasant person to know.

...and yet he still made it into Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Agreed. I once though Kira was awesome because, you know, how he ate potato chips and stuff.
But as the story progressed, he really wasn't "awesome" (L on the other hand, was).

Fuck. The only one really viable in online play is Dream World Snivy, due to Contrary turning Leaf Storm into a death machine.

Samurott is slow and frail, but powerful offensively. Which is not generally looked upon as good, since you're dead first. Emboar is outclassed by Infernape and Blaziken as a Fire/Fighting. Serperior is just too defensive for in-game, and not defensive enough for online play.

For one thing even though Gotham was shitty I bet the idea of being a lawbringer never crossed him until his parents died.
Another way he is a selfish prick is how he won't kill because that would corrupt him.Last time I checked peoples lives are more important than your feelings and he KNOWS the joker is gonna make another (insert contraption thats only weakness is a batarang here) and be back next week.
Plus does anyone remember Arkham Asylum where Bats got fear gassed and forced to watch his parents death all over again?If he were really smart and as "trained" as he says he is he would get over the illusion with sheer mental power.Too bad he has none.

The fight against corruption is a huge subplot in the batman comics now a days. Without it, we just have another punisher.

And the mere fact batman's brain doesn't melt down the second he inhales fear gas is a testiment to his will power (And the sequences you mention are actually you playing as Batman's willpower. I'm sorry you missed the point).

And I'm guessing you haven't checked on how Batman's 'teams' usually end up. His partners tend to die/get their spines shattered.

He doesn't really have control over anything (except arguably during bits of Episode 1) and just goes with the flow: the flow being forward. Since he's mute we can't even tell if he wants to kill the Combine/Xen aliens, we're just forced to because they shoot first.
