Yep this for me too! I think this was the first game I actually commentated the entire way through the fight. "Hit him! Hit him! No don't run away! Not that way! Oh you fucker!"JWRosser said:I think I did a little leap of joy when I eventually managed to defeat him.dragon_of_red said:And maybe Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts... His health bar actually went to far, so they had to add in a shit load of invisible ones that you could not see...
You can set up your game to auto level for you. I did this for a few hours and it let me beat the game with out too much trouble, and yeah I had to hit 100Trivun said:I'm having some difficulty with the final two bosses in the Via Infinito (Paragon and Trema) in FFX-2, though admittedly they aren't so much a case of "why won't you die" as "why can't I have time to get a single hit in?", thanks to the miracle that is the Catnip accessory. They literally pull out insta-kill attacks right at the start of the battle, every time, and despite having everyone leveled to almost Level 80, with Trigger Happy Lv.3, it makes zero difference. Otherwise, pretty much every boss in the first .hack// game was like that, taking massive amounts of hits to kill. In fact, fighting the bosses for so long was the entire reason I gave up on that franchise, which was otherwise good apart from the aforementioned bosses...
And yes, I am telling this FFX-2 story here in the hopes that someone can give me a good way to win those two fights, by the way... (hint hint)
of fucking course a final fantasy mmo would beat out ff 12's monster...Lucane said:I guess you haven't heard of Pandemonium Warden of FF: XIgmaverick019 said:there is truth here. on level fucking 100 it would still take OVER AN HOUR To beat a boss. The Jakeinator said:Mother fucking Yiazmat.

Damn, I was going to say that...Grey Carter said:Ah, I think I see your problem.Trivun said:I'm having some difficulty with the final two bosses in the Via Infinito (Paragon and Trema) in FFX-2, though admittedly they aren't so much a case of "why won't you die" as "why can't I have time to get a single hit in?", thanks to the miracle that is the Catnip accessory. Your problem is you're playing FFX-2.
