I go to school to see my friends and get a job. If I didn't need to do it I probably wouldn't go.

(The reason I don't like school is because most of the other kids are assholes. I have nothing against learning.)

I guess I kind of went about this the wrong way. I also go to school to learn and get a good job in the future. I just hate all the work that I get.

Ok, seriously? I can only think of a few people who actually go to school because they WANT to do work and WANT to take tests. Me personally, the only reason I EVER want to go to school is to see my friends. What about you?
Are you taking about high school or college/university?

Because high school is just petty stupid drama and I can do without that but I really like college/university. I got to study extensively on a subject that I am interested in. There are clubs and chances to study abroad and decent parties and all sorts of things that you don't get in high school.

To learn things, thus allowing you to get a job and have an earned income. I did go for the social aspect as well, but for me, school was all about the learning. When VIth Form came around, that's when I mellowed out and started making more friends.

You'd actually find that by having an intellectual capacity well above the norm and significant ambitions (all revolving around showing off how much better you are then others) that school becomes a pretty awesome place for acquiring new knowledge or showing off that you already had it leading to minimal study time and a lot of angry colleagues...

If you don't like making people angry then: You, sir, are odd

Your profile says you were born in 1994. To be honest, I think it really shows. Oh, wait, nevermind:

And you'll only get more as you go up the educational ladder. Get used to it. You can't get anywhere without work.

Oh poor you, Highschool is so bloody hard...

Pffff I could do Highschool all over again with one blind eye and an amputated left arm. Highschool is Life on Easy mode, live with it or give up the game

This isn't a case of want as you have to go to school to learn so you can be qualified and go get a job there is no two ways about it.

Also school is basically exercise for your brain I mean we use so little of our brains as it is I don't think we can afford to use any less.

Hmmm...

So that we're not all lazy, racist, homophobic, uneducated, ignorant arse holes who can't contribute anything other than dozens of children to society because we think condoms are for our feet?

And, yano, friends and that.

First off, I like to see my friends.
Second, I actually learn stuff.
Third, my classes are actually very cool.

Oh, and because I have nothing better to do.
This. It's either sit on my arse all day on here, or out to earn a very good job.

1. I get to see friends
2. I kinda have to in order to get a decent job
3. I learn things occasionally
5. I'm good at math and I like to flaunt that.

I go to school to learn, be able to go to college and then be able to pursue a career, and to see my friends.

I like learning, I like the idea of having a future, and I like my friends. Thus, I like school.

I'm not sure what bizzaro world you live in, but where I come from, you need an education to get a job that's at least somewhat stimulating and rewarding...

If you want a future that doesn't involve working as a cashier at a fast food joint, you'd better be prepared to work for it, regardless of how depressing that sounds.

the same argument could be made about work. The only difference is that the work and the tests you did in school can translate into more money and a better quality job in the real world. so yes, I wanted to go to school so I could get a better job.
