Why you love the Escapist!

Because there may be better sources for video game news but they don't have this hat this community. I love all the content and stories here, and even after I watched through it all, the community has kept me revisiting this website. For a while I was a profileless lurker, but I soon made a profile and lurked for awhile more until I started to get more into the forums and now a group. I am only dissapointed I wasn't able to attend the expo. But that's not the sites fault, its my lack of income. XD

This is one of the only places I can can post without getting into an argument with monitor lickers.

As people know i'm very rarely serious about anything and besides the first few months and the odd person who takes everything far to literally ..... it's been okay here.

It's at the posititve end of the gaming spectrum, no annoying Dudebraw stereotypes or arrogant fanboyism's you find on youtube or other forums. It is far bigger than any other forum I've used but everyone I've met in my short time here has been very nice and if they want to argue, they don't make reference to intercourse with my mother and why I'm stupid and wrong. Also I love the features. Zero Punctuation led me to the site like many others and I have to say I love the general atmosphere of the site

I've seen a lot of LoL threads pop up recently, it's nice to see that forum pick it up a bit. By the way if you're on EU West my name is the same as the one on this site so invite/friend me if you want.

I'm on pretty often too. I do main Irelia and Riven, but lately my boyfriend has been trying to get me to learn the harsh ways of that bot lane ._. I'm doing pretty decently so far! I just have to keep remembering I'm now squishy mcsquish and must stay back and must autoattack to harass! It's so hard not having my jump ability like I do with Irelia D:

Just for the spoon fed folk of the internet. I don't like the word "retard" for various reasons including it's an insult children and twats use, it's pathetic and it doesn't sound amusing (and I don't like put downs that don't make me at least giggle a little bit).

However, on this big place we call the internet we bump into folk so unbelievably stupid that it brings to mind the picture of a person drooling on their keyboard while licking their monitor.
