Why you should vote for Relic this March Mayhem round!

I won't vote for Relic until they make Impossible Creatures 2.

I have to agree with this. Impossible Creatures was, in my opinion, one of the greatest RTS games ever made. Sure it had a few flaws, but it deserved WAY more attention than it actually got. That is, it should have gotten some attention in the first place, rather than being some obscure game no-one has ever heard about.

Not to be off topic, but I think the Escapist should probably make a forum for March Mayhem discussion during March Mayhem. I think they tried before and it fell into a hellish flaming cess pool that whipped itself off the Earth but I'm sure there are plenty of people who want to discussion things like this and usually the poll topics are chocked with other voices so real discussion can go on.

The only probably I have with Relic is that they somehow always seem to go up against other developers I like more. I kinda feel bad for them, but I've liked the other guy more on more then a few occasions.

I thought thats what http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/index/539 was for? Its segregated off from the rest of the forums to get there go to the march mayhem splash page and click forums or click that url.

It's choked with poll threads there at the mo because noone is posting there but I'm sure it was said at the start that, that was the place to post MM discussion threads.

EDIT- Oh theres no new topic button anymore; there was one before. They must have changed their minds, if you scroll the pages you can see a few topics that arn't polls.

Wow, I actually got goosebumps from that video. I've never actually noticed how good the voice acting 'till listening to that and I am impressed!

Anyways, even against Valve I still voted for Relic. Why? Relic are one of the few studios that I have the utmost respect for. I have loved the entire Dawn of War and Company of Heroes series and in my opinion they are the best RTS studio around and have consistently produced quality games without any serious delays, Half-Life is great but how long must I wait for Episode 3?

Valve is great and I play their games a lot but I feel Relic deserved my vote this year, bit disappointed that they lost but at least they lost to another of my favourite studios. If they had been beaten by Harmonix I think I would've lost all respect for the Escapist community.
