I keep seeing BoomBlox brought up. Is that a must-have game?

I'm also thinking about getting Madworld, DeadlyCreatures, Super Paper Mario (I own PM: Thousand Year Door), and any rpgs that dare to come out this year. Does anyone have anything positive to say about these? I also badly want Arc Rise Fantasia, but I have no idea what it's about. That cannot bode well.

I own WiiPlay and WiiSport.

Not long after buying the Wii I realised it was really, really annoying. I gave Red Steel a go, decided the gun combat was rubbish, the controls were horrible, and holding my arms in the air for ages was uncomfortable. I traded the game back in for a pittance, and never played the Wii since (honestly, if I want to play bowling or tennis (i don't), i'll play with friends, for real).

It's pretty fun while it lasts. If you see it cheap (which it should be this long after release), I'd definitely recommend picking it up.
...Super Paper Mario (I own PM: Thousand Year Door)...
...you might be a little disappointed after The Thousand Year Door; I'd recommend trying the VC versions of Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario instead.

Sports (obviously)
Paper Mario
Mario Galaxy (probably the only Wii game I enjoyed for more than 10 minutes)
Twilight Princess (a port... doesn't really count)
Super Smash Brothers: Brawl (okay, the only other game I enjoyed for more than 10 minutes)
Okami (worst...port...ever...)
Mario Kart Wii (fuck the blue shell)
Mario Party... uhh... 16 I think... Who's really keeping track anymore? This game spun in the Wii one time before being locked back in its case forever.

I'm probably forgetting one or two. In short: Fuck the blue shell.

Mario Kart
Mario Galaxy
SSBB
Twilight Princess
Excite truck
Marble Mania
Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 and 3
Wii fit
Endless Ocean
Mario Party 8
Guitar Hero 3, WT and Metallica
Paper Mario
Metroid Prime 3

I mostly rent games, except for ones I know are too lengthy to finish in a week. But those are my wii games, all of them fun and replayable. Currently going through TP for my second time (forgot how great this game is).

EDIT* forgot about my Virtual console games: Ocarina of Time, Link to the past, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Waverace, Pokemon Snap, World of Goo, Mario 1 and 3, Chew man fu....that might be all.

Edit 2* and I missed GC now, fuck me im tired: Metorid prime, Double dash, windwaker, fourswords, beyond good and evil, Zelda collector set, prince of persia, and SM sunshine.

Disagree completely with this statement. No offense intended. I played both the Thousand Year Door and Super Paper Mario and I loved both. Spent at least 30 hours on each. Each version of the Paper Mario franchise seems to add an interesting little twist.

My wii games, with 1-word conclusions

RE4 - Sweet
RE: Umbrella Chronicles - Lame
Super Mario Galaxy - Fan-tastic
Metroid 3 - Zzz
MoH Vanguard (step-dads) - Shit
MarioKart - MarioKrap
Wii Sports and Play - Ok
Twilight Princess - Good
Link's archery challenge (or some shit) - Dusty
Manhunt 2 - Boring
Wii Music - Lame/Weird
Sonic and the secret rings - No
Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 (sisters) - Mental
Catz *shudder* (sisters) - Shovelware

My fave would definatley be RE4. Hadnt played it for years, bought the wii version cheap just for a laugh, disappeared from existence for several weeks. Forgot how good that game was.
