What is PBR?
Pokemon Battle Revolution my dear friend, sorry for the abbreviation.
It's all good. I was interested in that game, however did not buy it as it said something about how it was only good if you owned the DS games, which I did not. I'm waiting for a true Pokemon game to come out in the Wii. Or a Monster Rancher. By the gods a Monster Rancher for the Wii would rule.

In approximate order of purchase, with comments:

Wii Sports -- my son was playing it just today
Wii Fit -- has helped me lose many pounds
Wii Play -- free, with the purchase of a Wiimote!
Mercury Meltdown Revolution -- an under-appreciated classic
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz -- basically a clone
M&M's Kart Racing -- part of a $10 bundle, barely worth the price
Super Fruitball -- ditto, definitely not worth the price
Mariokart Wii -- bought it to get the taste of M&Ms out of my mouth
Shaun White Road Trip -- lets me get more use out of the balance board
Purr Pals -- yes, I have an 8-yr-old daughter

It's okay to admit that you play the singing and dancing games. The American Idol game is actually pretty challenging and a lot of fun, especially at parties. I bet a lot of the "hard core" gamers on this site who scoff at the Wii and games like that couldn't get past the first level of songs.

I won't bore you nor others with my list of Wii and GC games as it pretty much resembles most of the other lists on here. My favorite games to play on Wii so far are Mercury Madness (makes great use of the controls and is pretty different from your typical video game), Super Paper Mario (love the whole 2-D to 3-D switcheroo thing), Tetris Party (from VC, play it with the Wii Fit board for a new challenge!), and Wii Ski (another game that uses the Wii Fit board really well. I also kind of like the game that comes with Wii Fit for the balance games. That tight-rope game is tough!).

I'm looking forward to the Ghostbusters game for Wii. If they can get the trap setting and proton pack using mechanics down and if the dialog is as funny as the preview guys say, it'll be a big hit. Love the movies, so I hope the game is good too.

Thanks, for most of us, especially in the U.S., that stands for Pabst Blue Ribbon (an awful beer). I was trying to imagine a Wii game based on that swill and I had some pretty amusing mental images :)

Actually, I normally enjoy DDR and the singing games, but they are both...awful. The DDR has gimmicky motion controls, and the American Idol...annoys me b/c of the judges commentary.

I really hate it when devs stick on motion controls like that.

Wii Sports
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Okami
Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
Wii Music
Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

and I recently rented Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

Yeah... For the number of games I have, my Wii does get a good amount of use. It's fun at parties and I like to play my Gamecube games on it 'cos it's hook up to the big T.V.

For virtual console I've got F-Zero X, Mario 64, Mario World, Donkey Kong Country 2 and Super Mario Bros.

I'm pretty limited in the Wii department.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight princess (duh)
Resident Evil 4
Wii Sports

Told ya.

I also bought a few Gamecube games since the Wii is actually backwards compatable.

Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker
Eternal Darkness

I should be getting Okami and Madworld sometime soon, though.
