Turn the wii mote sideways maybe? And it could be like Eternal Darkness, if your heart rate is at a certain rate, weird crap can happen[Gavo said:]It's to measure the heart rate, actually, if I'm not mistaken, Miyamoto said that it would "Tell when players are alseep".
I think the only feasible thing would be is to use it to jack up the intensity of horror games when the heart rate is normal, or more crap with Wii Fit and such.
However, I'm not sure how it would work in the horror department, seeing as you would need to plug it in to the Wiimote, and most games require the Nunchuck...maybe they'll just flop it. I've heard that Nintendo actually has tech that never seen the light of day, maybe this wil be another one.
when i was watching the conference:Meado said:Take one sniper game,
Add a heart-rate moniter,
A dash of near-death fights moments right before the shot you need to take,
Disable pausing and...
...you have a game that requires the player to calm himself down to reduce the shaking of the lens. Awesome.
You're right. I've suddenly realised that this thing has potential!Meado said:Take one sniper game,

This is a fantastic idea, but what bout a game like house of the dead overkill? is it still possible to attach the thing wen the wiimotes in the wii zapper? As Ideas like the one above could be made doubly awesome by the use of wii zapper+ heart monitor thing.Meado said:Take one sniper game,

That's actually a good idea for this thing...Meado said:Take one sniper game,

However this will probably happen, lol! Although, would it be possible the game would still function if it couldn't feel a heartbeat? Or would it just call the paramedics if there was a i/net connection? =)Asehujiko said:And how long until people wrap the thing around the leg of a chair in order to get perfect aim?
That's a good idea, but it's one possible application idea for an entire accesory. I assume that Nintendo intend to use it with Wii Fit or some other stuff so that it can track your stamina and fitness. So not so cool.Meado said:Take one sniper game,

they intend to do as much with it as they can.. It could be interesting, to have games take information from you that you can't help but give them, and then adjust to work with that information.Geo Da Sponge said:That's a good idea, but it's one possible application idea for an entire accesory. I lol'ed at that. Tells him when he needs to make more exciting games.[Gavo said:]It's to measure the heart rate, actually, if I'm not mistaken, Miyamoto said that it would "Tell when players are alseep".
