She was an excellent counterexample to George: shitty shitty life, but she let out make her bitter while he broke free of it (with a little help from her, whether intentional or not)
At every turn Benny spits only venom, and shows NO appreciation for all the care and love and patience George and his family gives her.
Even the man who loves her absolutely, the redneck guy, she spurns unless it benefits solely her.
