Me?
I still have holes from where they removed my teeth earlier this Summer.
For some reason, God smiled on me while flipping my mother and sister the bird when it came to dental health.
They've both had all kinds of dental complications despite their good hygene, and when my sister got her wisdom teeth removed, a bone fragment was left in and became infected, leaving her bedridden for weeks.
Me? I had only three wisdom teeth, all conical and with mostly undeveloped roots. The doctor described the procedure as, "If all my patients had teeth like yours, I'd come in everyday singing and clicking my heels."
No complications afterwards, and suprisingly little pain. I wasn't taking painkillers after the second day.
You won't have this, I am very sorry to say.
I've seen my mother and sister suffer through dental pain, and Lord knows its miserable. You will probably be very painful compared to my experience, though you will have pain pills to help you out.
Just sleep. Sleep as much as possible for the days following the procedure. I slept practically all day for three days. XD
Still, if you have that many dental issues, getting those damned things out may make you feel better in the long run. Even if you're used to dental pain, it still has a way of driving one nuts. This could get rid of pain you didn't even realize you had!
AND NO STRAWS OR CIGARETTES OR ANY SORT OF SUCKING OF ANY SORT.
This has to happen, and you don't have to do much of anything yourself, other than not eat certain things. Just muster up the bravery to get yourself in the chair, and then (if you're as affected by the anesthesia as I am) will wake up two days later, groggy and hungry, with no memory of what's been going on since you got in the dentist's chair, making a 3D avatar of a robot My Little Pony.
