Name: Severin
Nickname: Sev
Age: 700
Race: Fallen
History: Many years ago Luke (Lucifer) made a bet with his brother Gordon (God) that the human world had become so violent and ravaged, that not even a God in human form could survive for long, and experimented to see who could last longer. Gordon was immediately mauled by a horse when he formed on Earth, but Luke was able to raise a family and help found the Starlight City, the only successful community of Humans, Wolven, and Fallen. Luke's only child was Severin, and when his wife died two days later from unknown causes, the two became inseparable. Severin and his father aided the City as time led on, defeating the many threats the City was posed and submitting to the rule of the City's monarch, Ari Rangtion. Assassins from an anarchist clan nearly killed Severin at 22, but his father was able to kill both, but not without sacrificing his own life. At the dawn of the age of Imperialism, Ari and Severin had begun a life of hatred. Severin, who was once the most decorated man in the eternal Starlight City, was exiled for a coup d'etat. Severin now walks the Earth, alone.

Magical Abilities: His father, being a God and had aided in the creation of the world, taught Severin the meanings of the earth and the materials that create it. Severin had become The Master Elementalist, a manipulator of everything, from the Periodic Table, to phenomena such as lightning, even the Stars are subject to his abilities. This manipulation has enabled him to "Refresh" his body with new components, minerals, and "de-aging" his organs to stay alive. Only the tips of his hair show age, and his auto-mail arm and leg. Early attempts at de-aging made his right arm and left leg decay, forcing him to replace them with cold metal.

Personality: Loud, happy, quick to engage and destroy. Living for so long has made him incredibly wise, but usually doesn't reference his age unless asked. As an ex-Captain of one of the most powerful military forces in the world, he has more battle experience than anyone on the planet. He keeps his wings folded most of the time, barely flying, just doesn't appeal to him as much as taking his time and enjoying the scenery while walking.
Looks: 7 feet tall; blonde hair with grey tips; automail arm and leg; eyepatch over left eye, scar over right eye; not too muscular
Profession: Carrier of the Title of The Master Elementalist

So, I'm guessing you're going for a slightly steam-punk vibe. Excellent. SP kicks ass. An old OC I made back in 2008, I think he's due for a revival.
I like it, just make sure not to god mod with him as can be tempting when you play a son of a god. Also make sure that he still DOES have weaknesses so he's not invincible or something

Seraphina was sulking through the streets, shoulders low and shrugged as she scurried amongst the streets like a rat. Something caught her eyes, a priest, perfect. She normally avoided holy men but she was running low on cash and he looked like a man who was well off, money-wise. She stalked up behind him and racked her brain. Her adoptive mother, Lila had once taught her a spell. Muttering, nearly silent under her breath, she flicked her wrist, hoping the magic worked. Two dollar bills drifted, as if blown by the breeze into her grasp. She had no doubt the man must have more but it was well enough that she had snagged those few bills.

Severin wandered the city streets, eyes down. Nobody needed to know who he was. The sky was dark, the city was not. In all the flashing lights and chaos of urbania, Severin noticed something. Another was walking in the same direction ahead of him. He was moving fast, a black cloak billowing behind him. A symbol was emblazoned on his left shoulder, when Severin's eyes glazed over it, he clenched his teeth, and began his pursuit.

Through the streets he followed the man, the ground trembling around him. The man turned around and saw Severin's face, went white, and sprinted off. Sev roared, the street ripping apart, a massive depression sinking between Sev and his prey. Cars crashed, people fell in, and the cloaked man collapsed into the small valley.

Severin jumped the fifteen feet to his prey, holding him up. The man's face was older than Sev's, grayer and lower than his. His nose and mouth were bleeding. Sev pulled him closer to his face, snarling. The man, laughing, spit blood off to the side.

"So, the Master Elementalist claims another?" he sighed. Sev smiled.

"Wanderer of Mythos, Connor Alenko. Your kind has ravaged this world for too long, the death of Zero scattered you, and I shall see to it the job me and my men started will be finished," Sev's automail arm tightened his hold on the Wanderer's skull, crushing it. The man screamed for mercy, begging the Master Elementalist for his life, begging for pity. He would have none.

Peter jumped off the the bench, half a piece of bread in hand. A very tall man with metal limbs and an eye-patch was attacking an old man! ...And destroying the road. Well, he still had to help.

"Stop!" He yelled.

Seraphina jumped back as well, shocked by the events. And her victim was getting away too. She would need more than two dollars for a good meal. With an exasperated sigh, she ran after him, nearly invisible as she clung to the shadows

Ark's club started to shake, causing him to scratch his head. "Godess, whats happening?" he said to himself and left the club into the alleyway. After walking to one end, he saw nothing. He walked to the other end an saw what looked like a small scale apocalypse. He drew his staff and melded into the shadow, reappearing out of a wall of a nearby building.

He looked down at what was happening, a man's skull was being crushed by what looked like a horrid mix of German steam engineering gone wrong and a priest running to try and stop the man. but He sensed something about the shadows near the priest, a person was in them, stalking the priest.

Bolts of shadows erupted from the ground underneath the poor man getting crushed and consumed him. nothing was left in the steam-punk mans hands. the poor mans head nearly crushed Ark could feel. while he was being transported though the shadows to the alleyway. during the trek, Ark used dark magic to zombiefy the mans skull, letting him live with the injuries. the man ws dumped into the alleyway and ran off, his pants soiled from the encounter.

"time to see what happens next." and Ark sat up in the wall of the building watching.
G'night for real this time.

Severin looked around, a small crowd had gathered. Severin looked about, eye wide. His eyepatch glowed, sending shockwaves of pain throughout his body. He fell down to one knee, groaning and covering his eyepatch. He looked about the crowd. Somebody had yelled for him to stop. There would be none of that.

He stood back up and spread his wings. tTey were massive, 20-feet wide, clawed on the top joint. Severin glared at the missionary holding bread, he was the one who cried out.

"And who are you to judge if someone lives or dies? He was a Wanderer, a group of individuals who led genocide across the lands I protected for half a millennia! Severin smiled, wings rising.

"But, Human, if you wish to challenge me and my actions, THEN HAVE YOU SHALL SHARE HIS FATE!"

Ark decided to have some fun, in a loud, booming voice he yelled, "Round One, FIGHT!"

Peter stood, shocked, at the massive figure in front of him. He closed his eyes, and prayed, hopefully, The Light would be strong enough.

The night was alive with the sound of running. The pack had been successful at separating a few deer from the small group that they had found and now they were leading them right into an ambush. Unlike most cases Hume had elected to keep the groups together this time, mostly to test the new pup who believed that he was ready to hunt. There was no denying that the pup was nearing the age but a few of them didn't believe that he was quite there yet. They were concerned about the boys ability to keep up rather than slow him down so they decided on this as a test.

Whether or not the boy failed or not depended entirely on whether or not he could keep up for the duration of the chase...if he did, then he would join the main group, if not, then he would join Hume's group and stay until such a time when he had the stamina to keep up. He had no expectations put on him to attack though Hume had the nagging feeling that he would anyways, just to try to prove himself. So far though, he was defying that and staying back, whether from being exausted or for some other reason though, he didn't know.

Hume turned his attention back to the deer nearest to him, working his body to catch up to it. He and Quake had agreed a few munites before that Quake would initiate it, clawing and biting at the deer and, in general, slowing it down before Hume came in from the side and took the kill, draging it down with a bite to the neck. Sure, it would have been easier to take it down with magic, but, generally, the pack (hume included) looked down upon that. If you couldn't catch your prey with your natural abilities (as opposed to supernatural abilities) then you were a disgrace of a hunter.

Hume watched as Quake turned and got on the inside of the beast, separating it further from the rest, before starting the process. Now he had to approach from the side at a distance, as to not alert the beast and make it harder from them. Suprisingly he didn't see the newbie catching up to him to ruin it in any way and so he made a hard left and charged into the deer, sinking his teeth into it and bringing it down.

Quake walked up to him as Hume got up, looking amused.

"Did you really need to do all that to take it down?"

"What are you talking about? That's what i normally do."

"Believe me, it's not. Your showing off, trying to show the pup who's the big dog when it comes to hunting."

"Yeah right. Like i'm that worried about him...where is he anyways?", Hume inquired. He realized that they had driven the deer and themselves a bit away from the group. They were probably still hunting down the rest and the newbie was probably with him.

"Probably with the others, chasing after the other deer.", Quake said, right after he thought it. True to form, he seemed to read Hume's mind...it still got to him.

"Well, one of us shou...", Hume started before hearing a howl in the distance. Someone had been injured.

Instantly, the two wolven went bolting towards the sound, fearing the worst.

My computer went insane last night and we recently got it fixed...i think. I'll post the next bit tomorrow, need to make sure everything it working right and that nothing was erased.

Peter took the metal octagon, which served as his religious symbol, from his pocket, just in case. Fighting, however could not solve anything words couldn't. This, he firmly believe. Well, mostly believed.
"Please, I do not wish wish for violence." Peter said. "I simply saw one man attack another, and almost kill him. What's this about genocide?"

i need to stop this. too addicted to the forums

Ark formed a pool of shadows between the two. He rose out of it, Once fully up his wigs unfolded themselves from his back, A 21 foot span and black with red veins going though them clearly visible. he spun his staff over his head and slammed it on the ground, red pentagrams forming in his eyes as he did.

"By the Goddess of Succubi this shall not happen!" His voice boomed down the street. "My name is ark, you shall not harm this man nor others. leave this city if you wish to do so!"

The sun started to set and Ark's grin widened, knowing he would become exponential stronger after it did.

Peter was rather startled by this newcomer, but grateful to have someone on his side. As healing as the light could be, it wasn't that excellent in combat.

"Thank you, kind sir, for your support. However, from what I heard him say about genocide, I think this is all a misunderstanding."

I assume this is all outside of sunny's tavern. Also, sleep calls to me. I am currently ignoring it.

Kayne watched the pack of wolves silently from his roost high above in the forest canopy. His eyes pierced through the thin layer of trees easily, yet he doubted the Wolven even knew of his presence. Every few minutes Kayne took flight and followed his prey, landing silently amongst the trees to observe their movements of the pack of seven Wolven. His following took no more then half-an-hour before his quarry finally stopped and lay in a small grove to rest from their constant running. Kayne had been following this particular pack for two days now, tracking their movements and behavior, and he had come to a conclusion. This was a branch of the pack who had slain his village, and very soon now they would pay the price. Kayne waited until the last Wolven lay its head down to rest, even the one who had been supposed to stay awake and keep watch for someone like Kayne. That one mistake would cost them dearly...

Kayne swooped down, his dark black wings blending in with the shadows of the forest and his eyes piercing through the darkness like reflections of the sea. Kayne quickly unbuckled the scythe he had tied to his back days before underneath his twin swords, and swung it in a gentle arc over the grass. The grass swayed in the gentle breeze Kayne's scythe created, but by the time the sentry awoke it was already too late. A look of shock flashed across the Wolven's face before its eyes clouded over and blood dripped down from its open jaw. Kayne now stood over the lifeless Wolven, his scythe embedded deep in the chest of the creature, yet when he pulled on the scythes handle it came out of the ground and through the Wolven effortlessly.

Kayne left that Wolven's body there, and moved onto the next, his next target being the Alpha of the group. Kayne knew this from recent behavior and a large scar that ran across the Wolven's snout. Kayne smiled as a bright light burst forth from the tip of his scythe, quickly engulfing the blade in a brilliant red flame that danced on the blade. The Alpha opened its eyes and let out a howl that echoed through the forest, awakening the other Wolven who backed away in fear at the sight of Kayne and their leader about to engage in combat.

"Haha... that's more like it Wolven. I want to see the fear in your eyes as I cut down the rest of your pack, and I want to watch the life fade from your eyes like I watched the life fade from my friends eyes." Kayne said darkly, malice clearly evident on his voice. It once had been a beautiful voice, that laughed playfully with the other Fallen children... but a year of hunting down Wolven to seek vengeance had chipped away at what the voice had once been. Kayne swung his scythe in a large arc, causing the Alpha to howl and leap away from the flames and burying his snout in his paws. A large flaming gash had been left in the ground where the Wolven had just been, and had it not been for its quick thinking it would have been cleaved in two then.

Kayne turned to look at the Alpha, and let his wings unfold to take up a space of at least ten feet on either side of him. The Alpha raised its snout and snarled, revealing another long gash that had been cut into his snout and then burned closed with Kayne's flames.

"I'm glad you dodged Wolven. This wouldn't have been nearly as fun if you had died in the first attack." Kayne laughed, a sour laugh that had no true feelings behind it.

The Wolven snarled and lunged at Kayne, aiming to tear his head off with his powerful teeth. The Wolven's attack was for nothing, as Kayne sent it sprawling with a quick flick of his scythe's hilt. The Wolven lay dazed for a moment, trying to process what had just occurred. Kayne stepped closer to the dazed beast, resulting in the snarl of something behind him. Kayne turned just in time to see another Wolven lunge for him, slicing through his clothes and skin and resulting in its own death as Kayne's scythe sliced it from its snout to its tail. Its body fell on either side of the Alpha who was now back on his feet.

Kayne clutched at his side and grimaced as he looked at the damage. It didn't look good, he was losing blood fast and if he didn't end this hunt soon he would soon lose consciousness. Kayne strapped his scythe to his back before flapping is wings and rising up into the air.

"Well, its been fun. Tell your ancestors that I'm going to make them pay for what they did to my village. Tell them I'll hunt you all down until the last Wolven responsible falls by my hand." Kayne called out to the assembled Wolven before opening his mouth and unleashing a blast of flames so intense it not only burnt the wolves but also all of the trees were now nothing more then burning pyres. None of the Wolven could be seen, but Kayne was sure a few had escaped. Then again, it was only the Wolven responsible for his villages death that he was after. The others he had no quarrel with.

Kayne dropped to the earth, and let his wings lock back onto his back. He lay there panting, the energy used to create the flames having been too much for him to lose and still remain airborne. Kayne lay in the ashes as flames danced around him, and he marveled at what he had done.

Crap... when the Knight Commander hears of what I did... Best not to think of that right now, I just need t get some rest and get home. Kayne thought, scooping up a handful of hot rocks and pressing them against his side. Kayne nearly screamed in agony, but managed to contain himself in case any of the other beasts were near. Now, Kayne would wait until his strength returned, and prey that he wouldn't be attacked by another Wolven pack.

And that was my first post. Well if anyone is looking for a way to start out, you can always have them wandering in the forest and meet Kayne?

"Is crushing a poor mans skull a misunderstanding? This person need to be stopped, be it peacefully or violently. The darkness i live in comforts me and strengthens me. the sun is not my friend but an enemy, and its about to fall." Ark said as the sun finished setting over the horizon, making shadows greatly darker and Ark significantly stronger.

The tip of his staff, the silver ball was now engulfed in black flames. Red lines, almost like tribal markings started to appear over Ark's skin, they had an evil glow radiating off them.

Always gotta one-up me...

Severin roared, lava seeping from the depression, exploding around him. The darkly-lit sky exploded with lightning. Peter took a step back, amazed by the power of this particular Fallen.
Severin laughed a hearty, dark laugh.

"You amuse me! Fine! I shall depart! To a forest maybe! Where I can meander about! Maybe meet somebody! I don't know!" Severin looked around. The populace's fear was waning. He was ranting. He groaned and muttered, "Bye," before flying off and BLASTING A HOLE IN THE ROOF OF THE DOMED CITY.
Few will understand

Some time later...

Severin was meandering in the forest when he came upon a burnt patch. He walked farther into the wreckage, noting bodies of Wolven on the ground. He came upon a figure, lying in agony, hot rocks pressed against his side.

"Well, what's this Fallen doing? Arson?" Severin clapped his hands, "I applaud you" he gestured off in the distance, "back there I nearly turned a city into a volcano... but this is impressive. Actual destruction I can dig. So," Severin snapped his fingers, a campfire instantly started in front of the man and Sev sat opposite his new companion, "...what's your story?"

Peter stood, rather shocked.
"Well," he said, "now the road *and* the dome need fixing. I wish he were back here to do it."

Peter sighed, and finished off his bread.

always with the fucking roof. give the poor thing a break.

Ark saw all of the lava seeping out of the ground and erupting. He knew that something must be done. He tapped his staff on the ground twice and was soon standing on top of a dragon made out of shadows. It released a breath of darkness that flooded over the lava and solidified it on contact, stopping the miniature eruption. He tapped his staff once and the dragon melded back into the ground, leaving Ark standing, only supported by his staff now.

He looked at the others. "If i pass out, bring me to my club, its in the alleywa..." And Ark collapsed to the ground.

"Ah... I see your a fellow Fallen then?" Kayne said, moving into a sitting position and tossing the hot rocks aside as he admired his crudely done cauterizing job. His wound was at least sealed for the moment, but any strained movement would easily re-open it. Kayne quickly surveyed what remained of the grove, which wasn't much. Most of the Wolven had been caught in Kayne's initial fire blast, and the nearby plant-life would never fully recover. Kayne turned his attention to the other Fallen who was sitting across the campfire from him.

"My story? Well it was easy to tell from the minute you stepped inside this ring of fire wasn't it? I was hunting this pack of Wolven." Kayne said bluntly, looking at the other Fallen.

"You can call me the Angel of Death or Angel for short, it doesn't really matter what you call me really."

Peter rushed to help the mysterious Fallen, but was, alas, too slow. He had to be content to drag the man, with some help from the crowd, to the alleyway. Upon entering the club, he propped the unconscious Fallen against the wall, and looked at the rest of the building. This looked like a perfect time to mingle. Intent upon learning how to dance and/or people's names, Peter disappeared into the crowd.

Probably good night, as this gives me a good excuse.

The beats of the club were pounding, Ark's demoness took control for a minute, melding his body into the shadows and delivering him to his dark room, for Ark to recover. Inside the club, the lights were always on but shadows blocked them out in perfect tune with the music, better than any tech could ever do. She materialized herself in shadow form and approached the priest "Thank you for helping him." and with a flash of the lights the succubus disappeared, retreating into Ark's body and soul.
