What double standard? She didn't rape the kid. He had to be able to get it up for any sort of intercourse. And in no way did it say he didn't consent. Kudos to the kid, imho, he got laid at 13. The guys lucky.Wildcard5 said:I understand and do enjoy the jokes about the double standard. Glad she got caught.
Yes while that is true - in this case, The 13 year old just doesn't know any better. I would agree if it was 16 or 17... MAYBE 15. Not to mention what impressions that women made on him - IE about women. Besides he isn't even remotely near an age of consent law in any state and most of those laws kind of only apply to girlfriend/boyfriends doing it that are within a few years of each other. Heck, that's just bad taste. Worse than those models marrying 80 year old men for their money.Dyp100 said:I've never understood the terms statutory rape and child molestation if it isn't rape.
Ahhh, vitimiless crimes are so odd. It's strange to live in a society where ideas are forced upon us.
Depends on the state actually - in Maine - age of consent is at 16 However assuming your both dating/going out/gives consent and the close age group (within a year or so of each other).... it wouldn't really matter. Technically by law it's ilegal, but at that point, people aren't going to really do anything other say "Wait X months." Or her father kicks your ass.Justin Tarrant said:Question: Would a 18 year old be allowed to have sex with a 17 year old?
Flipscore said:In The United States of America, where this story happened, age of consent doesn't allow a person over the age of 18 to have sex with a child. Even if the child wants it or can legally give consent.Boneasse said:Well in Denmark you're legally allowed to have sex at the age of 15, so in my eyes that's not that big of a deal.
This is rape and she deserves a punishment for her crime.
For everyone reinforcing the double standard about female-on-male molestation I would hope that you would change your attitude about this issue. You are making things worse.
This is a doule standard that will never go away. That's not to say that I don't agree with you, I'm in total agreement. But in society eyes, men(and boys) cannot be victims of sex crimes(Unless the offender is also male). Women are victims, men are victimizers. That's just the way society is, at least in the realm of purrceptions.Fumbleumble said:It's about time we all started to stop joking about this kind of thing. The double standard that still exists in cases like this has got to to stop.
Females should vilified by the general public as much as the men are under the same circumstances, but they're not.. by the law yeah.. but they still aren't looked upon with the same disgust, shock and contempt, and until that happens the hypocracy that is involved makes me want to puke.
There's no way the tongue in cheek attitude that is on display here would pass so easily if it was a guy screwing a 13 year old girl... Who'd be making the jokes then?
Sounds like your kind of girl. Stop messing around and get involvedZenigata said:ewwwspookydom said:It is her! Hide your X-Box! Quick!Zenigata said:OMG!!! this looks EXACTLY like my next door neighbor
its hell, she leaves trash in the hallway, she cusses like a sailor at her kids and cant park her car for shitJustin Tarrant said:have fun being next to that.Zenigata said:OMG!!! this looks EXACTLY like my next door neighbor
Not to mention that most guys are embarrassed to say they got raped by a women. Ego thing.ShadowKatt said:This is a doule standard that will never go away. In canada, it's technically more complicated, but it makes much more logical sense, and the law is designed around common sense.Andrew_Waltfeld said:Depends on the state actually - in Maine - age of consent is at 16 However assuming your both dating/going out/gives consent and the close age group (within a year or so of each other).... it wouldn't really matter. after 12, it's a 4 year difference, legally a 16 year old can have sex with a 12 year old and it not be rape, 13/17, 14/18, 15/19, 16/20, 17/21 and then who the fuck cares
so an 18 year old could have sex with a 14 year old, but not a 13 year old, and definitely yes on a 17 year old. Otherwise we'd have a lot of ridiculous trumped up statutory charges - I dated a 17 year old girl when I was 18. Would have sucked to go to jail because of it.
No 1 to both. But only if the 13 year old liked it.Malo_Tux said:Internet: 1

Pretty much when you hit 16 in American, it's free game so long as it's consent, any consequences is kind of really left to the families to deal with. The only time the law is involved is when it's in some place that it's ilegal to be or some other circumstances. At least in Maine that's how the cops act. Not that they don't act when they need to but when teens will be teens... they aren't gonna do about it except tell the parents. To be honest that's usual a worse punishment to both of them than anything else.Altorin said:In canada, it's technically more complicated, but it makes much more logical sense, and the law is designed around common sense.Andrew_Waltfeld said:Depends on the state actually - in Maine - age of consent is at 16 However assuming your both dating/going out/gives consent and the close age group (within a year or so of each other).... it wouldn't really matter. Because sex crimes committed by females against males are ok if the guy liked it. You know, just like when males commit sex crimes against females.Justin Tarrant said:No 1 to both. But only if the 13 year old liked it.Malo_Tux said:Internet: 1
