Women In Video Games

A better question would be "are there any games that feature an UGLY woman as the main character?". My guess would be no as they only feature a woman on the basis that they are hot (in the mind of the designer) and are normally pretty damn athletic/ well endowed to get the kids/ young adults/ frustrated older men all excited.

You never play an ugly man either.

Marcus Fenix (Gears of War) is a pretty ugly MoFo - deformed in his muscularoty too.

Scarred, yes, but in a badass way. He's supposed to give off the alpha male aura of indestructibility, not be ugly. There aren't any games with main characters of either gender who are unpleasant to look at, because that would be stupid. After all, you need to spend a lot of time looking at them.

Shale from Dragon Age is a pretty good female character, if that counts.
