Women That Swear

Ok, after having watched some of the new assorted videos by Lisa Foiles (Top 5) I've noticed that whenever she swears, it always puts a little smile on my face.

She doesn't swear often, at all really. So it's not the issue with the proverbial female sailor or tomboy that swears like Yahtzee Croshaw on the night Portal 2 gets put back a few months at all but a simple assortment of curse-words said out of frustration (like Yahtzee in every other minute of his life) that show that just because she's a woman decree's she must be at all times feminine.

So I was just wondering if anyone else agrees that girls swearing just seems nicer sometimes than when they simply try their best not to?

People that swear always seem nicer to me than people that try their best not to.
Its honest, human and a fun thing to do.
People that are against swearing usually also complain about noise, living beings, other's outer appearence and whatever else there might be interesting in this world.

Rest assured, I have never once restrained myself from expletive on account of my gender, because gender conformity is fucking stupid. :)

My girlfriend swears, and I don't mind it. In fact, it bugs me tremendously when people try so very hard not to swear...like they're afraid of their own emotions.

So long as it isn't taken to a ridiculous degree. I agree this works for anyone, male or female.

Well I find it funnier when a woman cusses for some reason. I think its because they have a sort of elegance to it or something?

I swear. Not a whole lot, because it's a bit off-putting if it's just for the sake of being vulgar, but I won't hold back if it's said out of frustration, or even just to add emphasis to a point/sentence.

I swear constantly, I don't try to do it all the time, but I don't try not to do it either. It just slips out.

Also I think people need to stop being such fucking pussies over cussing anyway.

I fucking swear all the god damn time. Why? Well sometimes when you're in a superbly stressful situation it just feels better to shout Fuck or Shit at the top of your lungs. Those who try as hard to not swear or just use made-up swear words sound outright silly.

My opinion is that anything done naturally is nicer than trying to hold something back. In case you were wondering, I don't swear often. Swearing is a wonderful tool of expression and I feel its meaning can be diminished if over-used. So when I swear, either in anger or joy, you can be sure I mean it.

Oh I agree entirely. It's like if everyone had to follow some complex rule that no one enjoyed but all thought the others did so because no one said anything, nothing changed.

Single truest words ever uttered.
In... In a topic about cursing.

I would make a pretty shitty irishman if the idea of ladies swearing made my head explode.
It is more shocking for a person not to swear. Even children are expected to ask for feckin' sweets or for a fookin' toy.

It's funny when a woman swears because it's unexpected. The unexpected is the basis of all comedy.

Oh, and personal policy? Try to limit the swearing, but use it when appropriate. IE, try not to use it around parents + teachers + the like, use it to describe body parts, or to express intense emotion.

I can tolerate people swearing. And yes that includes women. Personally it shows they have attitude rather then being soft pampered girls who have been brought up as pushovers. This is often the case from what i have seen with my friends. Those who dont swear end up bullied and used by others. Those who swear often are left alone.

I use language in moderation. When i'm angry or irritated, or if I'm playing around with someone and call them a "t**t".

However, when it comes to women using the C word (ie C**t). THAT is gross and intolerable in my opinion. Its the only swear word i'm strongly opposed to. It sounds aweful, it even LOOKS aweful. I loose respect for ANY male or female that uses that word, but worse when women use it.

Bingo, profanity is fine in certain situations, however if it becomes a filler for every other word ( you know the kind of people im talking about) then it becomes well "off-putting" I think sums it up nicely. And yes gender conformity is stupid.

Not so much their emotions they're worried about projecting, but their lack of adequate adjectives to describe a situation, resorting to swearing as a sort of word-bondo for their statements. I personally can sound very, very angry without needing to swear.
