...However, when it comes to women using the C word (ie C**t). THAT is gross and intolerable in my opinion. Its the only swear word i'm strongly opposed to. It sounds aweful, it even LOOKS aweful. I loose respect for ANY male or female that uses that word, but worse when women use it.
I can honestly never understand when people don't like a very specific swear word as though that somehow crosses a line that the others do not.

It's funny when a woman swears because it's unexpected. The unexpected is the basis of all comedy.
Yeah you do have a point there.

I don't know. For some people, I just find it really unattractive. There's only one I know that can actually get away with it.

Truthfully, I dont understand that either, but something about that word bothers me. Strangely, im not the only one who likes every other swearword BUT that one. Its just a Taboo word that immediately causes offence to many.

I swear quite often and no-one ever bats an eyelid. I don't know if it's because of the laid-back university environment or whatever, but I'm pretty sure it's not because I'm a woman...

C isn't that big of a deal to me. Dunno why, but it just isn't. Maybe because it sounds british (and we all know how they're such bloody prudes)

Yeah it's quite weird since I know various people that don't like it either. But then by the same reasoning there a fuckton of people that don't like the word "moist" either.

My Ex did it all the time. I liked it, better then the stuck up ones who seemed scared of it.

I have a feeling that I comunicate better with women that swear (not overswear mind you). People who say "fuck" and "shit" in certain moments are easier to emphatise.

I don't mind it, but when a woman with a Vally Girl-esque voice swears, I can't take it seriously. It makes me laugh.

I swear fairly regularly. I've had stuffy old ladies tell me I should curtail it, and I would if people would stop PISSING ME OFF SO MUCH. >_<

I do honestly try not to do it every other word...I knew a guy once that it seemed like every other word out of his mouth was some sort of variation of "fuck" or in relation to his dangly bits, which frankly I didn't care to hear about. That bothered a lot of people we both worked with and frankly I was glad to see him get fired. Swearing appropriately is one thing, and as a joking, overly-excessive manner is another. But doing it just for it's own sake is just...ugh.

Swearing is caring. If I didn't care, I wouldn't bother to swear. That's how much I swear.
But I try not to. :p

See now it's people like that, that give the rest of us the bad name that makes fucknuts that hate swearing attribute it to a lack of brainpower.
Yes THAT twat-mongrol has a lack of cognitive function but I'm perfectly fine swearing when angry or amused... or happy... or sad. Ok, most of the time really.

As was once said by Steven Fry; "Anyone who doesn't swear is a fucking arsehole", or something along those lines. So I see no reason to not swear and so often do. I don't even realise I'm doing it sometimes, but I blame that on 5 years working in a workhop full of tradesmen.
