The escapist, as I found it though a link on VGcats. Tv tropes was mentioned on 1fort, and I think I probably found it some time before that. Most anime I know about I learned about by stumbling around the internet. Same with most webcomics, including the allmighty XKCD. Now that I think about it, you can find a lot of stuff by browsing around. The internet is a great sea of adventure, indeed.

A couple of months ago I moved to a new apartment. It's amazing how much shit a person can own and not realize it. I had boxes and boxes of stuff I hadn't seen in years. I found this box labled A.Ms stuff, so not knowing what it was I opened it. Inside was a bunch of girls clothing and a few bathroom knickknacks all wrapped up in sealed plastic bags.. I was like WTF? I opened up one of the bags and... boom, the scent of my girlfriend from college just hit me right in the face, not her perfume mind you, but just the smell of her. It was weird, I haven't seen or heard from her in over five years and in just from one smell it all rushed back. She graduated a year before me and moved back home, which just happend to be on the other side of the country. I never saw her after that, so I never had the chance to giver her stuff back. A.M stands for Andrea Merrik by the way.

My best friend. He's from a different part of the state, but came around to my neck of the woods for college, and he just happened to live down the hall in the dorm from where some of my friends from high school lived. We all just started to hang out, and he and I seemed to have the most in common out of us all, and so we're still really good friends to this day.

And I guess my favorite band, Clutch. On the radio station I used to listen to all the time, there were 3 of their songs that would be played once in a blue moon - I could very well have never heard them, ever. But I did, and listened to more of them in other places, and fell in love from there.

Basically everything I've ever seen on the internet, including YouTube, the Escapist, and Agent44.com.
