Fascist/Fascism to quote George Orwell:

"The word ?Fascism? is almost entirely meaningless. In conversation, of course, it is used even more wildly than in print. I have heard it applied to farmers, shopkeepers, Social Credit, corporal punishment, fox-hunting, bull-fighting, the 1922 Committee, the 1941 Committee, Kipling, Gandhi, Chiang Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's broadcasts, Youth Hostels, astrology, women, dogs and I do not know what else... almost any English person would accept ?bully? as a synonym for ?Fascist'"

oh and the usual fuck gay love etc.
Woah, "fuck gay love" thats not very PC is it Buddy Christ. XD

People seriously say, "ly?" My God...

If I contribute, I'll just be repeating just about everybody else.

However...

LOL. I mean is it a word? people use it now instead of laughing which is fine on the internet but not in conversation.
This. I think that if something's funny, just fucking laugh! It's easier than saying something.
Seconded. I cannot believe that people actually say the "word" LOL. I hope you guys are kidding when you say that people actually SAY that "word." I really do.

The word hate has been casually thrown around so much that it lost all meaning and impact it once had. I have to make up a new word to express my disdain. I'll try one: I megaloathe you all.

"Racist" When it's used after the words, "We're not" when spoken by Nick Griffin or anybody from the BNP.

"Terrorist/Terrorism".

Every last fucking person that commits a heinous act nowadays is bandied about by the media as a terrorist. A terrorist is one who inspires fear in others in order to further their cause, not someone who does something for their own pleasure and doesn't care who knows it.

Stupid political "buzzwords" are completely removing the meaning and impact from once-powerful words.
start calling them fearists! Maybe that way the root meaning will be flagrantly obvious enough for even the dullest fat tv watching person to comprehend it.

"You kids use the word HATE so much that I have to find a new word to describe how I feel about others. Hmmmm, I mega-loathe you all"

Virtual cookie for those that know who said this gem.
Dr Cox from Scrubs

Gimme the cookie

the word gay means nothing to me now, everyone uses it to describe the slightest thing they dislike

People frequently use the word "epic" in the wrong context, which really bugs me.
I get even more annoyed when it's followed by the words "win" or "fail".

Love and Hate are thrown around too much.
I agree with you there, I am tired of epic anything.

Hate pretty well now just means dislike, not truly loathe. And love is just a way of getting sex.

I can't think of anyway to pad this first post out, so are there any words that mean nothing to you anymore?

If it has an interesting story then throw that in too, my word is "hint"... I just used it and I found myself staring at it for 5 minutes wondering if that is even real. :D

Bump maps. With normal maps out there who needs them nowadays? They're even crawling up the pre-rendered lane and every now and again push back the long-render-time subdivision displacement maps. Oh, the tragedy.

Yes, this is quite a lot of my life.

I need a hug now.

For some reason I think there is a hidden motive behind this post, its insane but hear me out... Okay, you quoted my first post so you must have wanted me to see it and all you said was "Leadership."... thats the part that has me stumped, but of course there is no merit to my paranoia for I am a mixture of tired and filled with energy drinks. :D

Noob, most swears, most gaming terms imba and etc, and 99.99% of buzz words.

Noob the most as it has been used way too much of late it used to mean something normal like someone who is new to something now it used to describe someone who is bad at something or as an insult.

Rape and sexual assault.

They have been abused so many times that whenever I hear either one, I no longer care what else the person who spoke the words has to say.
