Phlebotinum( I just winged it and made plubinium. Which doesn't sound anything like the right way). I used to mispronounce meme as me-me as oppose to meem. Ooh, I also recall calling Rattata(from Pokemon) Rattatata(Rat-uh-tat-uh).
That seems to be the most common mispronounciation. Hell, even I thought it was me-me.

It's supposed to rhyme with "gene" because memetics is essentially genetics applied to bit of cultural information.

I pronounced superfluous as super-fluous for a bit.

My accent causes me to mispronounce a few words. Like 'garage'. I say GUH-roj, but I hear it pronounced GAY-raj a lot.

Captcha: geethent barriers. Sounds like a shield company...
Get the NT Barriers? I'll get right on that!
...Do you work in Special Education? Gay-raj? What the fuck? Also, what accent do you have? I've never heard it pronounced GUH-roj. It's GAH-raaj, or GAH-razh, where zh is the closest to the sound the s makes in the word 'pleasure'.

I'm English, so I pronounce it GAH-RIDGE. :)
And I'm upper-class English, so I pronounce it correctly >;D

I used to pronounce "breakfast" as "break" "fast". Pronouncing both the words instead of the whole thing.

I do have a Boston accent, and I pronounce the following words wrong.
-Car (Cah)
-Park (Pahk)
-Yard (Yahd)
-Hard (Hahd)
-Fool (Foo. I drop the l, I don't even know why).
So.. you basically can't pronounce the letter "r"?

I don't get how meme can possibly sound like gene.

Likewise. I looked it up on Wikipedia just for fun one day and was shocked to find it was pronounced "meem".

Banal. I went around for ages using the Freudian pronounciation...

Also, I'm Scottish, so I probably get just about everything else wrong too. I'm = Ah'm, going = gaan, down = doon, the = tha, town = toon, tomorrow = themorra/imorn, and so on

It's the long "e".

Like someone someone else said, it's pronounced like "meem". Sort of like how gene is "geen" not "genie"

Last con I went to I learned that one of my favorite animes (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) is pronounced Gurren Lag-on and I was saying La-gin.
I still say I'm right.

It's really easy for me to know the pronunciation of a word since my first language pronunciation of words is literal, as in a is not ae it's just ah or written a, and it's not meem it's MEH MEHQ!!.. At least I still pronounce it that :(

It does rhyme, specifically it's an assonance rhyme [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assonance].

Aluminum, apparently.

I say it the way Canadians say it, the way Americans say it.

But let's not have yet another flamewar about it.

I always seem to mispronounce "vanilla" by actually saying "vanilla," as opposed to pronouncing it with a short E than a short I. If it's supposed to be said as an E though, than why spell it with an I...

I used to pronounce "corps" as "corpse".
Found out that it's pronounced "core".
