English was not my first language, though I would like to think I'm quite proficient in it right now.

I referred to my sternum as my 'scrotum.' Still get crap about it to this day, especially since I pointed to my chest at the time.

Fair few, mostly because of my accent.

I still pronounce "aren't" "are-ant" for example. I have a really slight stutter too, so I get commented on it a lot. Weirdly, people think it is cute. I think it is annoying.

I used to pronounce "ocarina" as "oak-arina," and now I say "ah-carina." I'm not exactly sure if I'm saying it wrong now or I used to say it wrong.
Never heard it pronounced anything other than oh-cur-reena or och-a-reena so the former is probably right there.

Say to your friends "Is my trolling subtle?" and intentionally pronounce the "l" in "subtle".

I say Origin funny. I can't really think of the way I say it and how to type it, but I just put an extra emphasis on the 1st I, I think it is.

Dues, for some reason I keep on saying it like ducks.

When I said I was looking forward to "Ducks Ex: Human Revolution", my friends broke into laughter.

Pretty much everything - it's because of my accent. Water is 'War-tah' or 'War-uh'....and that's all I can really think of at the moment. I can talk and pronounce things in the not-so-colloquial way but it takes a teensy bit of effort.

Apostrophe and February.

I may pronounce February right, but if I do, I don't like saying the name, it feels as though I devote too much thought into making sure it comes out how it does.

I thought the same thing, so did everybody else who played Okami that I met, guess that counts for this thread.

As for another one I pronounced epitome "eh-pee-tome", and I thought "eh-pi-toe-mee" was a seperate word meaning the worst of something.

I do have a Boston accent, and I pronounce the following words wrong.
-Car (Cah)
-Park (Pahk)
-Yard (Yahd)
-Hard (Hahd)
-Fool (Foo. I drop the l, I don't even know why).
None of that's "wrong", the Brits and us Aussies pronounce those words like that anyway.
Except for "foo". :p

So.. you basically can't pronounce the letter "r"?
(This quote was in reply to the first thing I quoted.)

Again, another thing that Aussies/Brits do as well. We pronounce the R, but we don't overpronounce it. There's an article on Wikipedia about it somewhere, apparently the two main ways of pronouncing R have names.

On a related note, I found it utterly hilarious when I talked about going to a party ("PAH-tee") on my vlog, and some American viewers wondered why I was going to the "potty". Despite the fact that everything else I said implied that it was a party.

I don't know how it managed to get "pahst" them. -_-
