Dan grinned and nodded. At that moment, a bang was heard in the distance.
"Sh*t!" Parker said, ducking his head.

Dan looked around to see a shell falling from the sky.
"Oh god..."
He ducked his head.

The shell was realtivly close. The force reached the truck, over turning it. Dan fell and landed on Wolf.
"F**K!"

The truck hit the floor and rolled a few times. It finally stopped, shells still falling around us.
"No one said they had freakin' bombs!" Parker screamed.

Dan lay ther, stareing at the bombs falling outside. Everything went dark for him.


Parker coughed and climbed out of the truck, carrying Dan.
"Damn it!, guys get out of the truck we've got to go."

 

[Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon]

"By the lord?"
Tim jumped out of the truck and flipped in mid-air. He landed next to Parker.
"Want any help with him?"
He pulled his hood up as he said it.

Parker grunted.
"Heh, no thanks. I don't have super strenght, but I think i'll manage." He laughed.
A bomb shell landed nearby and Parker fell to one knee.
"Sh*t, let's go."
He walked in the direction of the bunker, noticing the corpse's in he front of the truck.
"I forgot to say what my power is. Basically, I can change the general mood of a situation. Do you need a demonstration? I could calm down every one here, or make everyone more eager to do this."

 

[Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon]

"I'm fine, I need no demonstration."
He turned to the others.
"Come on, what are you waiting for? Let's go!"
He began running to the bunker as fast as he could.

 

[Red_Fog]

Wolf climbed out of the truck and made his way to Parker. "What did you think? We were just gonna drive up to the door, honk the horn and they'd let us in?" You're right though. We must move now, the longer we stay here the easier it is for them to zero in on us." Wolf extendedhis arm in a motion to offer to carry Dan. "I'd think carrying him would burden me less than you, and we must all be very quick right now, ja?" Wolf offered as a shell landed 15 feet behind him. A few small pieces of shrapnel hit his back, but it was not a serious wound for even a normal man, and Wolf's dense tissue shrugged off the concussive blast.

Parker stomped on Wolf's foot with extreme strength.
"Don't you dare talk to me like that! And for god's sake, i'm fine with carrying Dan."

He closed his eyes and changed the general mood of the group to calm and collected. It would be easier this way.

 

[Red_Fog]

Wolf looked down at his foot. "Ow."

Parker gave Wolf an angry look. He continued to move towards the bunker.

 

[Shanaar]

Rolling free from the truck, the flask Laurens was carrying broke. Getting to his feet Laurens used the water to create a barrier to stop most of the concussive blast and slow down any shrapnel. Walking towards the rest, Laurens tried to included the rest in the barrier.
"I don't know how long I can hold this up, how the hell did they spot us?" Laurens said trough cleansed teeth. "I can stop some of the concussion and slow the shrapnel, but that doesn't mean I can stop everything."

Victor looked from side to side a let out a string of incomprehensible gibberish,certainly not English or Russian,and began to teleport to the safe zone,a every boost putting a longer distance between him,the group and the bombs. Victor had survived assassination attempts,counter snipers and basic infantry,we would not be destroyed by by some fucking missiles.

Guess it depends on if Venom considers it possible. Water in its normal state, while able to absorb a concussive blast, wouldn't have much of an effect on shrapnel unless several inches deep. Though, if you're character could in effect change the density of the water then it might be able to stop some projectiles like shrapnel. This would also mean that the "shield" you'd make would be much smaller since your using more water per volume with increased density and considering your using water from a flask I'd imagine the effective shield to be very small. That's my thoughts on the matter anyway. Still badass though, haha.

"They must have observers for their artillery some where." Wolf called out has he began to dash his way to the bunker, hobbling the first couple steps from Parker's foot stomp which had caught Wolf off guard. It was the first thing to actually hurt him since he'd come into contact with the stone. As he ran he also began to notice that he wasn't as alarmed as he should be in the given situation, which he found slightly odd. Not that he would normally panic in a situation like this, he was an elite soldier after all and had been under fire before. This time was different somehow though, and he couldn't quite place his finger on it. It just felt more like he was going through a training exercise than an actual live fire bombardment which could be both good and bad.

"Men i Helvete..." Edgard said with a slight groan as he crawled out of the damaged truck, he might have some powers that normal soldiers didn't but unlike Wolfgang it didn't make him less vulnerable than them, and getting tossed about inside that truck hadn't exactly been pleasant.

He got up to a crouching position as he grabbed his hat and his Krag from the truck, it had been thrown around a little, but except a small bump in the wood there was no damage, and luckily the bayonet hadn't hit anybody. Edgard looked over at where the other soldiers where gathering, immediately aware that the Slav was missing and that Parker was carrying Dan.

Immediately breaking into full sprint, Edgard ran up to the others just as he heard Wolfgang say something about observers for the enemy artillery as he also set off towards the bunker. Looking over at the bunker Edgard immediately noticed a shadow in one of the slits in the concrete, accompanied by a small glare in what had to be binoculars as a shell struck the ground about 10 feet from their truck.

"There's one over there!" Edgard cried out loud enough to be heard over the noise all around them as he brought his rifle up to his shoulder. He fired once, and the round struck the wall on the side of the opening, he chambered another round and fired again, and this time he nailed whoever it was that had been standing there. Thinking nothing of the fact that he just took him out with iron sights at this distance, he again broke into a run to back up Wolfgang.

Parker continued to sprint and reached the side of the bunker. He skidded to a halt about 20 feet away. He saw the slit empty and ran towards it. He would use the hole to clear out the room. He lay Dan beside him and crouched down.

Dan coughed and rolled over. He moved up to one knee and immedietly knew what was happening. He felt calm though. He didn't feel stresed about it.

Edgard ran up next to the bunker, and put his back against the cold concrete. Now he needed to either find a way inside, or another opening so that he could neutralize the remaining spotters. Looking to his left he saw Dan and Parker at the opening he had shot at earlier. He recalled how the bunker looked at a distance, and instantly 'remembered' that there was a small amount of reinforced concrete sticking out of the ground at a different angle a little ways to his right, that had to be an entrance.

He crouched low and started following the side of the bunker, hopefully the others would notice him and follow.

 

[One Seven One]

Robert moved as quickly as he could to the side of the bunker, right behind Edgard.

"So, what's the plan?"

 

[Baldrek]

Edgard held up the satchel hanging on his left, "We put on our masks, get in the bunker and neutralize any hostiles. But first..." Edgard looked over at the truck again, plotting the field of vision for the remaining openings he had seen, and thinking about where the blindspots would be.

"... I need the charges. They're still in the truck. You follow the wall to the right and go ahead to the opening, but beware, there is probably an MG somewhere near it. I'll catch up to you." With that Edgard ran off back to the truck, being careful not to make a target out of himself.

"Good plan."
Parker made the situation more intence for the group, hopiing to make them fight harder.

Dan coughed and dropped a grenade through the hole. He walked around the bunker to the right.

When he reached the opening, parker shot the MG from behind and took cover beside the enrance. Dan followed suit, but rolled across to the other side of the entrance.

Having managed to procure the explosives with little difficulty, Edgard was on his way back to the wall, he found it slightly peculiar that he didn't see too many of his team-mates and for a second he feared the worst.
