He served patriotically in the invasions of Poland and France earning a reputation as a stalwart soldier and for bravery.
However, the continious wars and Hitler's extremely fascist politics began to disillusion Wolfgang. The all airborne invasion of Crete was his breaking point, showing him the true horrors of war and convincing him that Germany's best hope was to get rid of Hitler as quickly as possible. After the airborne campaign in Crete which caused Hitler to doubt the effectiveness of airborne invasions, and after the Allies gained air superiority, Wolfgang found himself and several of his other elite fallshirmjager troops guarding top secret research locations.
Wolfgang got in contact with French agents, telling them of the secret German facility in France in exchange for assistance in defecting to America. While the stone was in the States, it was shown to him to see if he knew anything about it, which he didn't. After he began to show considerably increased muscle tissue density he volunteered for the Allies' task force to assist in the defeat of Nazi Germany and overthrow of Hitler for the betterment of the German people.

Bio: A former Oversersjant (lit. Over-sergeant) of His Majesty The King's Guard, Edgard was a career soldier until that fateful day, 9. April 1940. Operation Weserübung, the Germans had called it, a full-scale invasion of Norway and Denmark to both secure Swedish iron imports and take control of the Norwegian coastline, all under the guise of 'protecting' their neutrality from the Franco-British forces.
Luckily for the Norwegians, things didn't go as planned when the 'Blücher', a German heavy cruiser, was sunk by a shore battery in the Oslo-fjord, delaying the invasion of the capital city long enough for the royal family, the cabinet, and the national treasury to be evacuated from the city.
Edgard and the rest of the battalion fought off the Germans pursuing the government, and kept on fighting as they retreated northwards. Up north he and the remaining Norwegian forces were evacuated to the UK after the battle of Narvik (and the fall of France), here he was assigned to aid in soldier training at a camp near Dumfries, Scotland.
In March 1941 he was reassigned to Norwegian Independent Company 1 (Or Linge's Company as they came to be known) where he received training in demolitions, or 'the art of sabotage' as his instructor called it. He served dutifully in the company until June 1944 when, on leave in London, he was asked to transport a strange stone back to a British laboratory for some Norwegian scientists. In the days following this not very unusual request, Edgard noticed that his eyesight seemed to be getting sharper and sharper, to the point that he could accurately discern a persons features no matter if they were a few feet away, or several hundred yards. In addition his ability to recall things rapidly improved as well, making it possible for him to recall every minute detail even if he had seen it only for a moment, or even if more than a week had passed.
At first he kept a tight lid on it, thinking that nobody would believe him if he told them, and that he might be viewed as mentally ill. Only recently was he approached by his commanding officer who confronted him about 'anything unusual?'. Edgard decided to come clean, and suddenly found himself reassigned to a newly created battlegroup (or task force).

Appearance: With a strong, wiry frame from years of playing sports throughout high school and university, Finn has the perfect form for warfare. He stands at roughly 5'11", with broad shoulders ripe for tackling opponents. Despite this, he's a better runner, rarely playing the role of defence in games, but preferring to flank and outmanoeuvre the other team- or, in this case, enemy.
Although he has taken quite a few beatings throughout his life, Finn's face is still symmetrical and straight, with a long even nose and a strong jawline. Though his mother isn't too fond of it, his hair has grown into a mass of gentle chocolate brown curls above a pair of vibrant green eyes. Due to his constant duty through the war, he is often seen with a thick bit of stubble across his face, usually forgetting to shave for days or even weeks at a time.

In what seemed to be no time at all, the war became official, and the Canadians were pulled in once again to the side of Great Britain. Finn was present during the liberation of France from the Germans, and was among the English company that had recovered the stone. Curious, he had inspected the stone himself briefly, before returning to search for any French workers trapped in the remains of the building. He dismissed the artifact entirely.
After acquiring an injury with the leading Canadians into the Caen region of France and acquiring leave on hospital recovery, he then began to notice what started as a gradual acceleration of his reflexes, into a fully-fledged 'power'. He eagerly signed for the special task force.

After going through segregated schools, he went to the only institute of higher learning that would accept him: Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He spent the next four years pretending to be Methodist before getting his MD in Family Medicine. Unfortunately, even with a medical degree, it was still the Great Depression. He wanted to be a doctor; he ended up becoming a janitor. He spent months cleaning up chemical spills in a laboratory when things suddenly became very busy. Scientists were buzzing about some new discovery that had been made. The cleaning crew whispered about some kind of "magic rock" that caused all sorts of demonic things to happen to those who touched it. Cliff didn't really care; his job was just to clean the room it had been stored in before shipping to Russia. Within days, he realize he had developed an uncanny ability to discern things. One minute, the scientists were running tests on him; the next, he was being told his application to the military that he just forgot he wrote was being accepted.

Haha. I was half expecting your character sheet to say that his weapons consist of 'Redheads (not warheads); blonds (not bombs!). That's awesome. If I didn't like my own character enough already, I'd consider editing him to be your better half.Agent51 said:

Bio: Antonio's parents immigrated to New York when he was around 5 years of age. Antonio grew up a somewhat odd and isolated boy. He never finished school, instead he began working in a factory where he worked most of his life remaining quiet and individualistic. When he was 22 he was investigated in the murder of a coworker who he had always commented, "...was looking at me funny." but the charges had to be dropped due to lack of evidence.
When the war broke out Antonio was assigned as the radio operator for his platoon and was both commended for 'good spirit in destruction of the enemy' as well as reprimanded for refusal to retreat or take prisoners under orders.
When the convoy carrying the stone was ambushed by a German attack Antonio's platoon was sent to rescue it. In the confusion of the battle Antonio came across the stone and retrieved it. It wasn't much later that Antonio began to notice that he could hear the radio messages flying through the air without using his equipment.

Bio: Antonio's parents immigrated to New York when he was around 5 years of age. Antonio grew up a somewhat odd and isolated boy. He never finished school, instead he began working in a factory where he worked most of his life remaining quiet and individualistic. When he was 22 he was investigated in the murder of a coworker who he had always commented, "...was looking at me funny." but the charges had to be dropped due to lack of evidence.
When the war broke out Antonio was assigned as the radio operator for his platoon and was both commended for 'good spirit in destruction of the enemy' as well as reprimanded for refusal to retreat or take prisoners under orders.
When the convoy carrying the stone was ambushed by a German attack Antonio's platoon was sent to rescue it. In the confusion of the battle Antonio came across the stone and retrieved it. It wasn't much later that Antonio began to notice that he could hear the radio messages flying through the air without using his equipment.
