I originally posted this a response to something about the price of games, but got kind of distracted and went on.. anywho, i'd like to hear some opinions :D

Everyone needs to start playing WoW. 20(maybe more or less? w/e) Years from now, it'll be like the juggernaut of the (video game) world. There will only two real companies in the world. In their current form, Walmart and Blizzard. And they will control the entire world. Picture this..

Walmart shoppers + world of warcraft + full time job (EDIT: WORKING FOR WALMARTBLIZZARD. OH GOD.) (that returns the money right back into walmart. Outside of housing/internet/stuff like that..)= communism

So now you're saying, "OMG No you're dumb because wow sucks blah blah." and to you I say.. Please take a second to realize how disgustingly popular this game has become. Not only because it's easier to find, and have a computer that works well with it than some pot at school, but because it's down right fun. I could go on about this for a few more paragraphs, but maybe later.

Onward..

This will then travel to plague the entire world. Over time, there will only be two countries. One being for the more powerful, greatly superior Horde, and the other, the pathetic Alliance. Our wars will be faught in the battle grounds, because there are no wars going on the real world. Walmart has already won that one.

World of Walmartcraft

It's very clear to me, this will happen.

I used to play WoW, after about a year of it I got bored of it. Lot's of people quit the game every day. As for the 11 million players (or however many) it isn't actually that high I knew tons of people who had 2+ accounts.

*EDIT* oh man I used to play on dunemaul too, sorry about being a nerd in my edit

Why did you bring up that giant which has been putting more reputable craftsmen out of business with their big box corporate ideals?

I'm not happy with Walmart, either.

EDIT: I assure you, not a rickroll, a clip of 'Tesco' (a British supermarket chain) and their wars. Barely relevant, but I just love Time Trumpet so fucking much.

Here's another: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0PSyiRXIEyc

Who says the horde is necessarily evil?
Who says the Alliance is weak?
That right there undermines most of the validity of OP, in my eyes.

It is inevitable my friend. You may either fight it, like the courageous martyr you think you are, or you can join it, and begin prepping your friends and family for the future. The choice is yours.

You say that, I but I still see that two great Cities stand after so long and I see the great return of a Galaxy, returning to its golden era yet again and inviting many to join it this time without charge.

We will prevail.
