looks pretty, might get it, depends on the drm and if it will run in xp, something tells me this might be a windows vista/7 only game
Why would you want to use XP to play a game that's coming out in 2010? Just look at how horrible XP's 64-bit support is if you don't believe me.

If you're rocking XP32, then you less than 4 gigabytes of memory available to you even if you installed 12GBs. And if you have a 1GB video card, that goes down to 3 gigabytes of memory. Add in the OS and all your programs and you aren't going to have much left to run Crysis 2 on.

It makes sense though since the OS is almost a decade old! I honestly cannot go back to XP after using Windows 7. The user experience is almost universally superior.

Damn you Forrest, why did you spend money on the consoles when you could have gotten an epic PC. Oh well, as long as it isn't watered down too much.

It's... beautiful... I loved it in the stills, but now seeing it in action is just amazing. I'll have to see if I can run it on my computer. Let it be known that this is the only game I will ever buy just because of the graphics. Normally, I don't care at all about graphics, but when a game looks this good you just can't pass it up. Plus, if I can run it on my sexy gaming PC then I can brag about it.

Actually, it's less intensive than the original, if rumours are to be believed.

OP: Looks good, if a wee bit more generic.

Still, bit too early to judge.
How is it more generic?

It looks water-downed for the consoles, and I don't like the looks of the shotgun, but it reminds me of Mirrors Edge, so I'll buy it. Just to be a douche, I'm gonna point out that I wont need to upgrade my computer.
Me too. Because I'll buy it for 360.
Enjoy having half the graphical quality that I'll be seeing. :D
I never fully got that.
Everyone says 'graphics aren't everything!', but that's the first thing so many PC players bring up. I've seen some phenomenal screenshots of Crysis 2 on 360, and if that is half the quality, then I won't complain.

More on topic: The game is looking awesome. I really enjoyed Crysis, and the fact that this is coming to my platform of choice, the 360, makes me all giddy! It's looking great (Both gameplay wise and graphically)! Crysis 2: On my Christmas wish list.
I agree! I never really got the chance the play Crysis because of my horrible computer which can't run any game, especially Crysis so i can't wait. And dude, i doubt you need to get it for Christmas, my gaming store website says it comes out in two months.

now that the crysis series has gone multiplat, does PC gaming have anything worthwhile left?
I lol'ed. As if Crysis was ever a thing to be proud to own a PC about.

How about the entire RTS genre? TF2?

Oh god they've made the armour customizable...

So now x number of components will be shit as you've not specced into it whilst y parts will still be good.

THE ARMOUR WAS FINE THE FIRST F**KING TIME.

Got a feeling this is going to result in another one made for the consoles and then tweaked for the PC to give the illusion of a proper game.

Although people hate to believe this sometimes it is actually worth spending money on an OS.

The experience is vastly superior then XP, greater utilities, much more stable, prettier, DX11 (although you'll need a DX11 card to utilise it) and proper 64bit support.

Purdy purdy purdy purdy.

Don't have a good PC, so this will be an Xbox buy for me. Will have to install it to console to make sure it doesn't kill it like Fable 2 nearly did. Also Red Dead Redemption.

It seems a lot like Crysis 1, a giant tech demo with unoriginal gameplay. If you're going to have a game that requires your computer to be the equivalent of Mr. Universe in hardware, then at least have some above average gameplay to go with it.
