I didn't know CryMods were going to consoles?thebridgetroll said:now that the crysis series has gone multiplat, does PC gaming have anything worthwhile left?
TF2 is not on consoles. Theres this silly twisted thing CALLED TF2 on consoles, but it sure as hell isn't the full experience. The question was not "is there something on PC that everyone likes?" but rather "is there still any thing left on PC that kicks ass?"thebridgetroll said:TF2 is on consoles, and the RTS genre is enjoyed by only a relatively small minority.Wombaat said:I lol'ed. How about the entire RTS genre? TF2?
Haha, it's funny you mention that because I can always tell when a multiplatform game is being shown on video with a controller or with a mouse. It just looks so hilariously stiff and rigid.Hopeless Bastard said:Is it bad that all i can really see are the slow, stiffened, unnatural movements associated with thumbstick controls?
I'm also not seeing any evidence of auto-aim, either. Which means console gamers are going to hate it.
? I'm confused why would you want to buy a 2 year old graphics card for a PC with a 6 core CPUSightless Wisdom said:I wrote 250, but I was thinking 275. That only proves my point. Very few people will ever actually see the ceiling of what the engine/game can do.Hopeless Bastard said:Considering cheap 2560x1600 monitors start at $1100 and decent ones start at $2200, another $1500 isn't that much of a stretch.Contextualizer said:Besides, it's not like you can play Crysis Warhead at 2560x1600 at full spec anyway.

71 frames per second with three of the most powerful graphics cards in the world all running at the same time and they can only manage 2x AA at 2560x1600? That's $1500 for just the video cards alone, not to mention a 1200 watt power supply and the $1000 CPU.
Not to mention crytek established a while ago that this version of cry engine would focus on optimization. Not surprising, as even crysis still makes any unreal3 game look like shit.

Maybe because the first took place in a jungle and this one takes place in New York that makes you feel its generic.Furburt said:I dunno, it just isn't as distinctive looking as the original was. Of course, it all comes down to how the game feels, which you don't see in trailers, but going on purely visual cues alone, it doesn't draw me in.Marik2 said:How is it more generic?
