I've said it twice before, but I'll say it again: I'll be buying a new graphics card for this XD

Hopefully I'll be able to get a six core AMD and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 250 in my pc before this releases. Because I really want to play this one.

Why get a GTX 250 they came out in 2008 since they are effectivly 9800 GTX's

I wrote 250, but I was thinking 275. Now that I look at it though the GTX 9800 my actually be a better card anyway.

when you could get a Dx.11 ATi or Nvidia from 2010

Well the new Nvidia cards (GTX 480) cost around $500, I'm not spending that much on a gpu. That and I have absolutely no idea how ATi cards are classified by name.

BTW, the 9800 GTX's are almost a pointless buy over the 8800 GTX's - too much cost for a minuscule gain. Wait for Dx 11 cards to become affordable - I read the bumpf for the next gen of Nvidia cards and they sound bloody impressive - maybe impressive enough to drive down the price of current gen cards to less than the price of my entire PC XD

Is it bad that all i can really see are the slow, stiffened, unnatural movements associated with thumbstick controls?

I'm also not seeing any evidence of auto-aim, either. Which means console gamers are going to hate it.

Bah! I'm neutral, love shooters on consoles and my trusty PC, and I never use auto aim unless it's forced on me like GTA4

Actually, if people would just practice a little, they'd find the sticks are quite good for shooters, especially where platforming is involved.

Either way, my current rig plays Crysis just dandy (though FSAA seems to be an ATI weakness). I'd love to build a system and play this on my TV. I mean, I paid for the damned thing, and I'd love to really see some true 1080p on it sometime.

9800 GTX were cheaper back in the day with less power draw and less heat and in todays market I doubt you could even find a 9800 let alone a 8800 without going second hand since they stopped making them years ago

TF2 is on consoles, and the RTS genre is enjoyed by only a relatively small minority.

Just like to mention that TF2 is crap on consoles, as far as I know, the item system was never added.

TF2 is not on consoles. Theres this silly twisted thing CALLED TF2 on consoles, but it sure as hell isn't the full experience. The question was not "is there something on PC that everyone likes?" but rather "is there still any thing left on PC that kicks ass?"

I have shattered horizon but, IMO they killed it with the 'firepower' update.

However, back when there was just one superduper mulitpurpose gun, it was Ecsher-ly awsome - I agree. Though lately I find myself playing morrowind. With mods. So not on a console. Just sayin'.

crytk have said the engine will be heavily optomised so if you can run crysis on your current pc this will run fine theyre just streamlining the engine like they did for warhead but i think i will get this if only to show crytek that pc gamers still buy games
