I broke up with a girl through a text when I was in honolulu, i walked in the greatest gaming store ever and she started some bullshit argument about my pot smoking habits so i decided it was done
Way back when, I found out my girlfriend at the time was going to break up with me. So I sent my buddy a message that me and her were through, got rid of all of her shit, and then went to a different friends house for a Lan party.
So she was chilling in my house, waiting for me to come home [having no idea I cut it off earlier than she wanted]. And my first friend bursts through my front door and talks to my mom. The way they tell it, he said "I just found out Daniel broke up with Genna! So I brought him these gummy worms!"
She heard that, started crying, and ran home.

Well my last girl friend sent a text message to her one friend while we were in class that she "Wanted to talk with me" This made me nervous as I knew it wouldn't end well for me. After school I was leaving the gym room and there she was with this tall half black dude (I could tell he was half black as he was kinda pale for a black guy, which I later found out I was right about). So she comes up to me and says "We need to talk" then my Dad, brother and sister walk up to me. So I said "Yeah what about?" I knew what it was. She says "I can't tell you now." I look at the guy and I said "Yeah I see what you're getting at, bye."
Later on he turned out to be gay and dumped her for some guy. Lol. What comes around goes around.

That's awful! Poor girl...it wasn't really anyone's fault, as far as I can tell, but it's still sad. I have to admit, though, one of the first things I thought was "why gummy worms?" Of all of the presents...Gummy worms?Stalk3rchief said:

I get dumped. Recently, I was the one that dumped them, but it's because he didn't act like he gave a shit either way.
I got dumped a few weeks ago, my [then] girlfriend came over just to say that we weren't compatible. I said "okay, bye" and wondered why a simple text couldn't suffice. I don't understand why people have a problem with being dumped/dumping over phone or text.
I really don't take offense over this method, but to me it conveys disrespect and weakness. It's like someone is telling you you are not worth the time for a face to face discussion or worthy of a proper explanation to their actions. Weakness should speak for itself.zombflux said:
