I vote for the gunblade

I think Kingdom Hearts one and two made the gunblade pretty sweet actually. its like seven feet long (typical anime style) and shoots. So it is both a range and a melee.

but imagine if your in a sword fight when *clash,bang,suicide*

Cracked.com did a huge section of an article about the stupidity of a gunblade. Mainly because any gun with a really long heavy sword attahed to the barrel you would need to use your second hand to hold it steady like a rifle, meaning you would slice your hand open if you tried to use both hands. Also if you stabbed someone with it the barrel would clog with bits of flesh and general people-parts.

about that... ive never seen a gunblade with an actual barrel. in real life itd jus be a gun with a huge bayonet

I have, trust me, it's made of fail.

It's a decent idea for a video game, but making claims to its real life validity as a weapon just reeks of lol.

Double-ended Lightsaber. Looks awesome, but there's a huge chance that you'll slice off your own limb. Seriously. And the handle isn't nearly long enough to use like a Bo Staff, so your grips are limited.

Thats why when you can craft your own double-ended lightsaber you can design it so the handle is long enough.

Not really. It's meant to be a cutting weapon, not a striking weapon like a staff. If you make the handle too long, then you might be better off with a spear or polearm anyway.

cbf actually reading the rest of the thread to see if anyone said Anti-Tank Dogs. Basically the Soviets trained dogs to go under tanks by putting food under the tanks. Now the idea is to (suprise suprise) put explosive on the dogs.

So in battle they let the dogs out to the german tanks, but, being the awesome soviets they where, they only trained the dogs on Soviet tanks, so they killed their own tanks.

I am pretty sure the "Flechette Rifle" or the "Needle Gun" basically made Prussia, now germany, one of the most powerful militaries in Europe and the most powerful army.
