Have you ever player a game and found a reward that was just...stupid?

What was it?

Try to be creative, don't just pick an achievement you get for beating a level, be creative.

(unless it's REALLY bad)

Blade Kitten has a 9 lives achievement for dying at least 9 times before finishing a level. That seems a tad counter-intuitive.

Dragon Age's Heavy Hitter.

Do 250 damage in a single attack.

Seriously? How the fucking is my dual wielding rogue, with low base damage, but high attack frequency supposed to do that?

Warriors have Final Blow, mages can get it with Mana Clash, and archers can get it with Arrow of Slaying.

Dual Wielding rogues...can't really get it. Since they are just a bunch of little damage numbers adding up quickly. Via poison, backstabbing, and talents like Flurry.

I can probably think of worse ones, but Dragon Age is what I'm playing right now.

From the top off my head; "The Adventure Begins", in Torchlight all you need to do is enter the mines.

7 Day Survivor in Dead Rising. There's no way I'm keeping my xbox on for that long.

In magicka you get an achievement if you switch between at least two colors when you choose the color of your wizard's robe. It's called something like "Blue... no wait yellow!". It's kinda funny, but also sort of stupid.

The achievements for Avatar; the last Airbender. A truly shameful way of gaining 1000 GS in 2 minutes

Ace: Bleh, all achievements are bad, the worst for me is the ones in Saw. You picked a piece of paper, here are some points! Oh, another piece of paper? More points! You picked a pencil? Here is another bunch of points! You got an eraser? OMG, you're a god! Here are more points!

Angel: It's depends, some do it because they know that's the only reason some people will even rent their games.

Luigi: Um, I don't play for achievements, unless they unlock ingame content...so...um...how are you doing?

Multiplayer Master! from Eat Lead:Return of Matt Hazard, which reads "What? No multiplayer? Sigh. Well...not like we can take the achievement back NOW...."

you get it just for finishing the game and there being no multiplayer

The achievement "Tera-Driver" for Resonance of Fate. You have to load a terabit of data from disc, so all anyone playing the game has to do is play the game for awhile and see multiple loading screens.

Damn ninjas...
anyway, probably some of the more rediceles (idk how to spell it) achievements in tf2, like killing someone with the equaliser in the air from a rocket jump. Seriously guys? that's impossible to get without farming, and even with farming it's a pain in the ass :/

Think it was Red Alert for Xbox or some form of RTS, where if you declined in doing the tutorial, you got an achievement, I forget what it's called, and zero gamerscore...weird.

"An assassain is born" From Assassain's Creed 2.

Watch (or skip) Ezio being born and you get it. Even before you touch the controller.

i feel sorry for you, i had a mage and i would use that spell that would make enemies blow up when they died so i would do like 1000 in each attack from an early point... mages in that game were so overpowered

Final Fantasy 13's "Master's Seal":
Fully develop all characters.

Arceus above, that is one very tedious achievement.
