It's not bad per se (as I liked the music and the animation) but I found Puella Magi Madoka Magica's opening very unfitting.
You expect from the opening a light, funny shoujo anime about magical girls (since there's a quite long scene showing Madoka failing at magic), and you get a grim story with people dying and everything and Madoka doesn't even become a magical girl.

I never really thought any opening was bad, but maybe except for the School Days OP.
At first I thought it was just generic, but after a few episodes I just wanted to strangle it with a piano wire.
I thought that song was hilarious when I first heard it, but didn't really leave a good impression, but their other songs were pretty kick ass, although I do see why people would hate them.

I don't know if the english dub openings count as well, but if they do I'll say One Piece a thousand times.

Probably because that's not the third opening. It's still the second opening, updated to the Shimabara Arc villains. They didn't change it until the Beni Aoi arc.Dango said:
