Linebarrels of Iron. My god that show was awful. Horrible character AND mecha design plus a main character that was a complete ass for no reason? I'm surprised I made it to episode 4.

For me it is a tie between:
Dragon Ball Z or pro wrestling as an anime with less of a plot and fights that last 3 or 4 episodes and are 70% people standing still screaming. Woooo!

I haven't watched many animes...I'm sure there are plenty of actually horrid anime. But that's the worst that I've seen.

Shangri-La for me. It started off good, but just degenerated in utter madness, and not the good kind [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftvZFUg4HPc].
I mean, at one point you have a girl in a tiny schoolgirl outfit (She isn't even going to school! Dirty Japanese!) explaining a complicated economical theory. At that point the "wtf" just became too much for me, and I stopped watching. It's setting was fantastic, it's story could've been as well, but sadly it was sorta ruined by the rest.

Now, I liked the manga because it was able to juggle hilarity with seriousness, plus it looked very nice and the main character was a catgirl (sort of).
The anime was shit. Full of fanservice, trying to funny to the point that it's bonkers and dumb, and the animation wasn't that great.
