Worst anime . . . Fruit's Basket. The manga was far superior. Love Hina was a lot worse then the manga too. I kinda like romances. Wanna fight about it?
Fight about it? I want to shake your hand. Fruits Basket was my first manga, and is still my absolute favorite. The only good things to come out of the anime adaptation were the music (sue me, I love Ritsuko Okazaki's work, rest her soul) and a surprisingly good reinterpretation of

the reveal of Kyo's true form. It didn't make as much sense as the manga, but I felt it was actually animated and emoted well enough to make up for that.

Can't comment on Love Hina, though. I read most of the manga some years ago, but I don't think I've seen any of the anime outside some AMVs.
Your hand shake is accepted. I enjoy some of Ritsuko Okazaki's work also.

You can pass on Love Hina. Although you might like it. Crazier things have happened. Just look at Hitler.
Eh. I wasn't entirely sold on the manga, to tell the truth. I might finish it soon, but only out of morbid curiosity...and loyalty to Ken Akamatsu, for the unrestrained awesome that is Negima.
Yes. Negima! is much better then Love Hina although I do love Keitaro. I need to re watch Negima! because I didn't get to watch all of it and I can't exactly read the manga cuz I'm broke and my library fine is through the roof LOL
Ouch...it's the manga I love. The Negima! anime was pretty darn disappointing. And don't even talk about Negima?!, yeesh...

Worst anime has to be..well, I'd say Naruto but that's been covered and my reasoning is more to do with the fact that calling those characters Ninjas is just off, it's more about the logic behind it rather than the anime itself.

Perhaps I'll just go with Lucky Star because there is random like Excel Saga and there is just truly annoying random. Second to this is X, that movie was just so rushed, it was hard trying to understand what was going on.

On a side note to good animes, may I suggest Outlaw Star, it has a decent plot, characters that you like and some good space battle scenes, not to mention it's got humour. Also, I'd say Sengoku Basara and the Devil May Cry anime, just because they have style. Yes the plot behind them is a little lacking but seeing guys just be the heck out of each other is just awesome ways some manages to make up for that.

I'm also going to say that there's one anime I think people should see, it's called Noir and has some good characters and a slightly weird plot running through it. Its music tracks are just great as well.

In before Bleach and Naruto .

If anyone mentions Hellsing or Elfen Lied, I'm gonna crack some heads.
And the worst anime I've seen, was easily Lucky Star.
Easily. And I watched a lot of shit in my time.

Granted that most anime's nowadays are pure crap, but Lucky Star was a special kind of retarded show-thing.

Also, honourable mention to FullMetal Alchemist. Overrated and uninteresting.
...Those are 2 of my favourite animes.

We can never be friends. Ever.

Well, I've seen worse than Bleach and it has some good parts, it's just a little annoying to me.

I would say that any anime that is nothing more than a 1/2 hour commercial for a toy line, is a bad one (with few exceptions).

My personal list is...
(if there not spelt correctly WHO CARES!)
-Naruto
-Nach bell
-Death Note (just too weird)
-divergence eve and the sequel (this proves that BIG boobs can't save a bad show)
-One Piece (was there even a point to the show?)
-Full Metal Alchemist (couldn't keep my interest)
-Pokemon and the many wannabe clones (enough already)

The list goes on and on.

I'm just glad that there are soooo many GOOD animes to balance it out
I wouldn't say Death Note was that bad, just not the type of manga that should have been made into an anime. Death Note was always supposed to be long and well explained, the anime did not really do either of those.

Pretty much this post.
Minus the strike on Naruto. That series is gawd-awful.

I'd also like to add:
Anything Dragonball related after the first series.
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Death Note
Vampire Hunter D
The Gundam and Macross series as well, hate them both equally.

Yeah, maybe I should go hide somewhere...

Note: been watching anime since the '80s, so I'm not just hating on the popular stuff because it's popular.

I used to be an anime nerd which I had gratefully grown out of thanks to my short attention span. So I seen quite a few.

Naruto - This is one of the first I watched. I liked it at first but after that story arc with the bridge, it slowly and gradually rotted to a pathetic lump of crap. The spin-offs didn't help, although I thought the idiot brothers were the BEST characters in the series. That says something about how great the characters are. Some of the flashbacks were really pointless, especially the one during Naruto and Sasuke fight in that waterfall place. Yup you read right, DURING. They have to hold back the best fight in the series so far with a pointless flashback that was thought up at the last minute. The fight scenes were cool but apart from that I really couldn't give a shit about the characters, even during my early teenage years as an anime nerd, it was too pathetic.

Bleach - It started out pretty good but like Naruto, it went downhill after the first arc (the one where Rukia is sentenced to death, although she's already dead...). The fight scenes were the only good bits about the whole series really. The episodes dragged on and on and on and on at a completely unnecessary pace and the story is a load of shit. Probably the worst I've ever heard. Oh well, at least the characters were better than Naruto's.

Full Metal Alchemist - From what I remember this is probably the first anime I've watched and enjoyed it a lot. It was dark, had some good plot twists but I don't remember much about it. I might watch it again one day.
P.S. The movie sucks.

Elfen Lied - Very dark and moody and lots of yummy gore. The amount of nudity was completely unnecessary though. That's what hentai is for. The story is good and the way the characters were mixed into it was good. It did end a bit weirdly and there really should be a second series.

Lucky Star - Got boring after about 18 episodes. The random chitchatter of a bunch of random girls is only amusing for a while.

One Piece - It's a very entertaining show with good and likeable characters and story although annoying in some ways. Like how people get life threatening injuries and get blasted by giant cannons and get beaten up shitless all the time and never die. Repeating fucking flashbacks for the upteenth time or having such a slow pace that if a Japanese snail made this, the episodes would be cut by half and that's still fucking slow. Hence caused me to get sick of it.
Their fanservice is shit too. I wanted to see Robin in her sexy cowgirl suit again dammit! Err... *cough* *cough*

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya - The story was interesting and the show was entertaining and that's all I can say. Although it was really annoying trying to find the episodes in the right order.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - This show was so crap... Kamina was a great character and it had the biggest anime slut ever (and she is like 14 or something) but really, the show was pretty damn boring.

Utawarerumono - I watched a few episodes of this, was really boring.

Cowboy Bebop - watched one episode of this and for some reason never watched it again.

Full Metal Panic - I've watched a few episodes of this but I just don't remember it. Probably didn't impress then I suppose.

Oh yeah and there was Code Geass, I think I got bored of that quite quickly.
There were also some others that I forget the names of, one was called "something" violet, there was a stupid robot one and some guy that turned into a demon. I think that one was DNAngel.
I recommend trying Full Metal Panic again. It was imo not the best Anime out there, but a lot of the times I had coffee coming out of my nose of laughter.

-Galerions: Rion. My friend brought it over one day and the anime seemed like all they did was take cutscenes from the game and put them all together to make a movie -_-;

-Xenosaga was pretty rough to watch, which is too bad because I loved the games.

-Amazing Nurse Nanako: I won't even elaborate on that POS.

-X/1999: The movie, not the series.

-Noir: I know a lot of people loved this series but I just found it too slow to really get into it (and I've tried 2 or 3 times now).

Gotta say Naruto. I watched a few episodes of it just to see what the hype was about and I think I lost a part of my brain somewhere.

Escaflowne...

Was awesome. I've no idea what the worst anime I've watched is, but I'd say the later episodes of Naruto were just determined to be slow, dreary, and take out all the interesting weaknesses the characters once had.

I haven't been subjected to much anime, but each one I have seen was worse than the last.

That means every anime I have seen, was the worst anime I have ever seen.

I could single out an anime, but I won't.

I'll just say that anything that does the cliched "I'm a big titted female and you're a male, argh, pervert, whack" will not entertain me unless it's a parody.
