I would say that any anime that is nothing more than a 1/2 hour commercial for a toy line, is a bad one (with few exceptions).

My personal list is...
(if there not spelt correctly WHO CARES!)
-Naruto
-Nach bell
-Death Note (just too weird)
-divergence eve and the sequel (this proves that BIG boobs can't save a bad show)
-One Piece (was there even a point to the show?)
-Full Metal Alchemist (couldn't keep my interest)
-Pokemon and the many wannabe clones (enough already)

The list goes on and on.

I'm just glad that there are soooo many GOOD animes to balance it out
I wouldn't say Death Note was that bad, just not the type of manga that should have been made into an anime. Death Note was always supposed to be long and well explained, the anime did not really do either of those.
I agree completely!
D-note was a great MANGA just not a good anime... IDK I guess that 30 min was not enough time to properly transpose the manga to TV and still give the same "feeling".

Does that make sense?

Anyway I think that show could have done better with hour long episodes instead.

***ALSO***

-Witch Hunter Robin.
That show was everywhere and nowhere... It wasn't even about her, so much as the guy who works with her. I also found it rather boring.
Yeah that is understandable, so maybe they shouldn't have tried to make into an anime but I guess when people know you can make money out of something they'll do it.

But that's the thing: there ISN'T one art style. True, there's some more generic artists than others, but many of them don't look the slightest bit like the generic style.
Realize that you are saying this as someone who enjoys the medium - there's enormous stylistic differences between various metal acts but that doesn't change the fact that to a non-enthusiast like my mother, they are all just awful noise.

None of those stylistic changes are dramatic enough to make the end product palatable for me - the variation, while quite possibly extensive, is variation within the bounds of certain shared constraints. You just don't perceive it that way because you enjoy those constraints.

Pokemon's pretty bad in retrospect...
pokemon is awesome in a horrible kinda way.

anyway, i LOVED the manga of One Piece. the show is so incomprehensibly bad that i question why it is still on the air.

That's a fair position.

But [http://i50.tinypic.com/10zqz5j.jpg] one [http://i45.tinypic.com/jh78mt.jpg] I [http://i46.tinypic.com/1zmo676.jpg] must [http://i50.tinypic.com/zpkw5.png] contest [http://i48.tinypic.com/2yy6vxx.jpg].
Some of those were certainly... different, but they were all visually unappealing to me. I'm just not the target audience.

Possibly one of my favorite manga out there, next to Fullmetal Alchemist and Black Lagoon.

I don't really have any 'worsts' i've watched some bad ones but nothing horrible (I never got into Naruto or Bleach, One-Piece, the 100+ episode action fighting series, i tend to focus on series that finish in at least 6 months (FMA being the exception).

I like most of the stuff made by Kyoto Animation and a few other nonsensical ones that show up on my radar screen (IE: my friend who pretty much recommends all anime to me, he's a handy pre-screening tool)

Gunparade March: the graphic novels were good, but the anime was full of so many cliches that it actually hurt to watch. That, and slayers, which made me drill holes in my skull.

I'd have to say Pokemon started to suck after they left Johto. I mean it just became so repetitive and boring. EVERYTHING IS HAPPY, ASH GETS A BADGE, BROCK HITS ON NURSE JOY, BROCK HITS ON OFFICER JENNY, TEAM ROCKET ATTACKS, PIKACHU USES THUNDERBOLT, BLASTING OFF AGAIN, ASH IS STUPID, MEOWTH THAT'S RIGHT. Argh!! Come up with something else guys, it can't be that hard!

I still love the games though (the main series RPG games only)

However the worst anime of all time would have to be:
BAKUGAN BATTLE BRAWLERS!! (dun dun duuuuuuuuun)
The plot is so confusing, the characters are all loud and obnoxious, and there is no originality what so ever. The card game is pretty much the same as any card game (mainly Yu-Gi-Oh) and the story also has a Yu-Gi-Oh-like feel to it (saving the world from eternal darkness using mystical cards). Plus the animation is just awful. I mean, y'know how some anime like DBZ or Pokemon used to repeat some repeated scenes back in the early days? Well those show don't really do that much anymore, but his one does it all the time! We could pretty much just be watching the same episode over and over and over again. The characters are all like those from Naruto and other anime, almost like exact copies. In fact, I can provide a list of comparisons for these characters!

(I never got around to learning their names)
Red Guy = Naruto + Ash - raspy voice + loud voice
Purple Guy = Sasuke - awesomeness & dark past
Short Guy = Pikachu + glasses
Orange haired girl = Hinata

I'd like to continue but now my brain is stating to hurt...
This. Oh lord, this. I can understand why some people like other serials I may dislike, but this... argh! Seriously, who finds that crap entertaining? I found the Dragon Half OVAs more entertaining than it... and Dragon Half is friggin' TERRIBLE!

All of them, every single one of them.
So you claim to have seen every anime ever? You must have a lot of time on your hands.

Too many to name. Code Geass is pretty retarded.
Code Geass is abit like Madden: it used to be good until it lost it's shit somewhere in episode 24. After which it goes through a genre shift and fanbase pandering until it's a giant piece of compressed crap.

My vote is for Final Fantasy Unlimited. Mostly cause the ending seemed rushed, but it was the same thing every single time. They get in trouble mysterious guy with magic gun saves them. Rinse and repeat. I think one or two times the girl in orange saved them.

I feel like I have to defend Lucky Star. The anime was basically different storylines of a 4 panel manga spliced together. The idea wasn't to make sense but to display the randomness of real life. Albeit Japanese life mostly, but there are universals shown through out the series. My point being while it was random and talked about the weirdest things sometimes, this is what everyday life is like. They just focus on the more humorous topics.

As much as I enjoyed the references to Haruhi, Lucky Star was pretty bad. Just... slow.

But it was the first sub I'd ever watched and it grew on me. Like incredibly cute fungus. :3 The female in me can't quite get over the cute, but it wasn't exactly... thrilling.
