Out of what I've actually seen the worst kids one was probably chowder. For adults it would be Squidbillies . I don?t get that show at all. It?s not funny, it?s just stupid and boring.

As much as I'd like to say MLP just to mess with the OP, I think it's well written, just kiddie and girly and not at all deserving of it's mega-hit status... but well written and produced with some quality.
No, my vote here goes for Dr. Katz. The animation gave me headaches, and it was all just flimsy window dressing to let comedians do their bits. There was no real character development, and depending on the week's stand up comic guest, it could also be pain to sit through.

Was at my bro's house, and his girlfriends kids were watching what I think was called "Sid the Science Kid." I'm sorry, that one kid on there does not sound like a kid.

It has mediocre drawing, animation, and voice acting, bland grade school humor, an unlikable cast of characters, ect. Yet somehow it ranks higher than the colbert report on IMDB's top 250 shows? My brain... it hurts.

I would say the worst cartoon that I've actually sat down and watched a whole episode of that's currently on the air would either be MAD or Squidbillies. The former because all the jokes are the same bad puns and celebrity name drops over and over again, the latter is just plain terrible.
Also, glad to see I'm not the only one annoyed by CG Thomas. Who narrates the show nowadays anyway? Last guy I watched was either Pierce Brosnan or Alec Baldwin back when my little brother watched it. Fun fact, I saw the theatrical film in a theater with that kid.

Generator Rex (I honestly thought it would be terrible when I first saw it, but it's really not)
The New Thundercats show looks pretty good.
Ben 10 (I friggin' hate it, but I recognize that it isn't that bad of a show)
The latest Scooby-doo show is apparently pretty good, though I have yet to watch it because I hate Scooby-doo.
Cartoon Network is apparently doing a whole series of shows based on DC heroes for it's new "DC Nation" block, starting with Green Lantern and produced by Bruce Timm. I don't really know much else about it, but it sounds pretty freaking cool.
So if you ask me there's plenty of good shows on right now (at least on Cartoon Network) and a few great looking ones coming out soon. And this is from a guy who rarely watches cartoons anymore. And I didn't even touch Adult cartoons either.
