my school is quite nice too be honest. the bullying that goes on in my year is pretty funny as everyone can take a joke which is nice. so its not exactly "bullying" just a laugh i guess...

this won't be easy to say, but i'll say it anyway, from ages 8-17 i was given constant crap about my weight, i was tall, strong and over weight, and as such, people seemed to enjoy making constant fun of me, i was bigger, stronger, and could probably catch them if i played my cards right, but after years of it, i became petrified wood when ever anyone would make fun of me, when i was young, i would just cry it out, and then later in life i came to know how to seperate myself from my emotions and body, i desenseitised myself from everything, not just bad feelings, but good too, because if you can't feel, you can't feel hurt, call me some emo hippy if you will, but it was better than wanting to die, which was not entierly ignored, i tried smothering myself once, woke up with a terrible headache and never did it again, i tried everything except drugs or booze, i had seen what that had done to some of my former associates.

but i grew smarter than the bully, i became quick witted, for every insult they threw i could throw three, i truned them into their own laughing stock, the funniest thing i had was when i was told strongly to vacate a bench at school by a rather dim fellow and i, for reasons beyond me, just started laughing histerically and uncontrolably, i had tears steaming down my face and this kid didn't know what to do, he just stood there with this utter look of terror on his face. i picked up psychology and learned joints, pressure point, musscle compositions and certain arm and leg locks so that if they ever did escalate, i had the upper hand, not that being the largest guy in the year didn't already afford me that at 6'4" and 140 kilograms.

in the end they just stopped entierly and i was apparently a 'good guy' at the ned of it all, so i guess i put it down to the old 'no cross, no crown'.

And to a certain extent, it worked - after I broke this kids' arms in third grade (yes, both) my reputation started to grow.

WOW... he must´ve been a real douchebag to deserve that.

but 2 questions:

1. did you still have good grades or were your attetion concentrated on bullying?
2. arrested? did you get charged?

When I was a kid I was always kind of a fighter. I got bullied a few times, but would eventually fight them back and they would usually leave me alone. The last time I was around 13 or 14 and this kid that used to pick on everybody started in with me, he took my hat and A-framed the bill. I got so pissed that I open hand ***** clapped him right in the mouth, the funny part though was that his brother was the one who started crying and not him... weird.

He pushed me off of something rather high.
I was just better at taking a fall than he was when I eventually did the same thing to him.

1. Relatively, but I got bored pretty easily.
Now I have straight A's though, because I can do my work at any time I want.

2. I think the charges were dropped.
It was quite a while back.
now we know that its a bad thing to mess with the Maxmeister.

Dunno, probably on me that I know of personally. I was bullied for like seven years all the way into high school by a group of four or five guys. I was very shy, and the guys would take my lunch money, so I would try to hide the money in my bag. It never worked. One time one of them threw me into a huge puddle, and soaked all of my school work which resulted in me getting into tons of shit.

Then I stopped being shy, and made friends with these four guys and got really close into their group. One of them was around six foot four and built like a tank. The next time they saw the bullies pushing me around and slapping me on the head with a ruler after class - which really fucking hurt - they jumped them and took them all down in the corridor. The teachers thought people were pushing to get through since the corridors are rather tight and they fell over. Then I told them all about the lunch money and stuff so we made a plan and beat the complete shit out of them after school.

Now the guys are actually pretty scared of me, even though I can't fight at all.

Eh I didn't have any of that crazy bad stuff happen, it was more or less just a common rejection of me. Everybody gave me shit, not enough individually to call traumatic, but when an entire school treats you like shit it ruins your social skills.

Wow... Comepared t some of these all of the bullies in my school are comeplete puffs!

The worst I can think of is when these Chavs started following and beating up this poor little fat boy called Alex Crawford. He's obsessed with Nintendo and Pokémon, and he isn't very tall or skinny, so that's probably why.

Dr. David Kelly was murdered by the British Government because he stood up to them that's pretty bad bullying.

Worse was the bullying of Parliament to go to war with Iraq, that bullying has killed hundreds of thousands.
Neither of those things are bullying. Bad, yes, but not bullying. Learn some definitions and stop trying to derail the thread.
My point was that we have it the wrong way around. Bullying is actually often assault and battery, if not grevious bodily harm and so on.

We hide these awful crimes, that in the grown up world would result in litigation and incarceration, and call them bullying. It's wrong and shouldn't be tolerated.

Here's the worst one in recent memory:

[link]http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8328105.stm[/link]

A 19 year old jumped out of a window and subsequently died. She thought it preferable to jump out of the window rather than continue being bullied. The girls continued to scream at her as she lay dying. We say this is bullying because it involved young people. It wasn't bullying, it was second degree murder.

I never really paid attention to other people in school because it seemed like I was the only one being bullied. There was a group of about 5 or 6 kids that always followed me around and depending on where we were, they would either just talk shit or they would get violent. I was walking home from school one day and they cornered me by a wall on their bikes. I don't know what diverted their attention, but as soon as I saw my chance, I was gone.

It wasn't until my friends started stepping in and helping me until they left me alone. I was at a strip mall by my house when me and one of my friends ran into them. After they started talking shit and acted like they were gonna do something, my friend stepped in and snagged in one kids face. He just stood there speechless and me and my friend went about our business.

Then in high school, some varsity sports players started up with shit. By this time, I had already started defending myself (bashing peoples' heads into lockers, clubbing them with books and chairs, etc.), so after a while I just got sick of it. I ended up confronting a group of them by myself. Big mistake at the time, but after, I think they thought I was psycho for doing that and they left me alone. It kinda helped I was hanging around convicted felons too. In retrospect, I don't really recommend that.

Im not sure why Im admitting this so readily as its a ver personal matter- but from the ages of 9-12 I was sexually abused by a boy my own age and his older brother, who was in his late teens. wich progressed to full rape. I late found out when I told my parents that this kid was being forced by his brother to finding ways of bringing me to the house and doing stuff that i wont mention- but sex acts that would be considered extremly twisted and humiliating by most twisted adults. I was constantly told i was gay and had to accept it- and this is what gay boys do. It utterly fucked me up and i still see a therapist over it.

I was generally victimized in one or two my classes back in 8th grade when it got out that I'm an atheist. It was all fairly subtle stuff, but at that time I tended to bottle emotions up without any real release (I still bottle up, but I've found that constant mild release via powerlifting has resulted in my never really having it become problematic again - exercise is a pretty damn good therapy). My main recollection is that I eventually lost it completely (can't remember why) and wound up screaming stuff about murdering two of them after the end of high school.

I'm over it now.

When I was in Jr. High there was this group that actually would get up and move away whenever I came near them. That does wonders for one's self-esteem. /sarcasm

The only bullying I've ever witnessed was my own situation; I was terrorized by a guy throughout elementary school, middle school and the first two years of high school. He was even in my junior Sociology class, but he mostly ignored me as I did him. He called me fat, mocked my family, called me a freak, threw rocks and other shit at me and stalked me around, picking at me mercilessly. Everyone's friends with the guy so no one would help me, his friends would sometimes join in.

This didn't happen at my school, but a school in my area. A bunch of guys picked up another guy by his legs and slammed him down on a fence, one leg on either side. Any guys here will realise just how much that will hurt. He spent three weeks in hospital, and then the day he came back, they did it again.

Y'see Maxibon, Since i am slightly doubting your story, Possibly satire, i have to ask about your logic here.

Bullying to not get bullied?
