No worries, no insult taken. That's just a personal pet peeve of mine regardless of language spoken, and if anything my error was mainly due to a lack of a proofread after many an edit to be sure I didn't call anyone a poopyhead.

Definitely would have missed it if you hadn't mentioned. Cheers for that, at the very least.
No worries wuffybird; c'est la vis?!

Again though, if someone insults a person who makes mistakes when speaking a language not their first then they themselves are the twat.

I actually don't dislike a single accent. I find them all interesting. Well, if I had to pick something then I'd pick this -

One of my favorite movies.
I fuckin' love that film. And I'll feed you ta the godamn pigs if you don't agree with me.

More seriously, I'd love to know what the subtitles mean. How do they translate misunderstandings between regional accents of the same language? Boggles my mind.

Why does everyone hate southern accents? I don't sound that bad...or so i'm told.
Most people base their perceptions of the US Southern accents on TV stereotypes where the actors have never heard a Southern accent and go off what their uncle told them they talk like. For instance, a Louisiana Bayou accent has almost nothing in common with a Texan accent, and probably even less with a New Orleans accent. Virginia is easily distinguishable from Georgia, but you never hear that because according to TV, there's one Southern accent. And it's usually put on stupid people and exaggerated.

That really, really, Reeeeeally DEEeeeEEEP African American baritone voice. When the sentence structure is fragmented, it just sounds like the most moronic thing ever uttered by the human vocal chords. God help us if it's even more non-sensical than others.

I will murder you chav accent people.
No I won't really, the accents just really annoying...
(though if you're asian with a chav accent, I would consider it)
Note: I am asian, I just find it insulting to our race if an asian talks with a chav accent.
Wot wot are you disrespektin me bruv, are you disrespeckting me?! I'll stab u up blud, my bruvva has a well fast car an he'll run you down bruv innit, u get me?!?

No, good sir, I do not. I do not get you at all.

But I applaud your decision to apply a £600 exhaust and £1000 wheels to your 12 year old Citroen Saxo, a very bold artistic statement.
Nah brah, you is way outta touch. No one ses bruv any more; all about the brah. Know what I'm saying?

Anyway brah, you know the pussy I pull in this machine? ' embarasss you son, that what it'd do.
[sub]Depressingly not ironic[/sub]

Good sir, are you insinuating that the eponymous chav does not have the most acute business sense that is widely available?

I am personally a Yorkshireman, my choice would be Estuary English (Essex and such)
You're gonna hate me, but North England has the most abhorrent, ear bleeding, retch-inducing accents known to man ... and Yorkshire is amongst the worst:

Although I'll grant you that Essex is pretty awful too, but nowhere near as awful as its close relative, Tower Hamlets:

It goes without saying that chav is the worst of all English accents, but since they mutilate the English language to the point of unintelligibility I've basically ignored them from consideration:

Atlantic Canada. Newfoundland to be precise. I live here (newfoundland, duh) and we have the most butchered version of English you can find anywhere

...OH dammit. That was one of my picks DX.

Dear God nothing worse than a Hillbill accent to make your voice sound devoid of all intelligence.

I say "sound", because I know some professors at my university have those accents. Just depends what they're saying with that accent. Either way it hurts my ears

The worst bit is that you're right about the girls. It's as if they're being rewarded for praising some alternative nob-head deity.

But darn it if I don't prefer my women a little bit more brainy. Who could listen to a Chavette talk for more than 5 minutes without trying to throw themselves in front of a car?

The Scouse accent is by far the worst accent in the world. For those from Britain scouse is some from the city of Liverpool
