IMO, Halo is the worst game ever, for taking much of the soul out of the industry. Single most destructive game release in history.

I'd say half life.......................... Ok I'm just kidding on that JUST KIDDING! I don't like Medal of Honor. That game is so screwed up. They know Call of Duty beats their a**. But look their still making games. I hate medal of honor and that's final (don't try to change it!)
You do realize that Medal of Honor existed LONG before Call of Duty right? If nothing else, Infinity Ward saw Medal of Honor and decided to make their own WWII FPS because Medal of Honor was so popular.

Xtreme Paint Brawl.

It's hard to be any worse than this.

They say there are special clinics for those (like myself) who need some extra help in dealing with the trauma induced by this HORRIBLE game. I may need to look one of the up. I still cry tears of shame every time I hear the distinct *pop* of a paintball gun.

But Infinity Ward did better than Medal of Honor. EA puts too many restriction on their games. That's why 22 members of MoH split to make IW. Now MoH is making a Modern Warfare style game in jealousy of IW's success. Plus they think they can make more profit.

Waynes World for the NES: Unlike Desert Bus, it's a sucky game that doesn't donate to the needy.

I mean it did almost singlehandedly kill the industry.
It was actually on par with Atari Pac-Man.

Really? Everytime I see someone say this, it proves they never lived in the 2600 years and just bahhh sheep repeat what one game reviewer spat out.

Shall I crank up the emulator and start counting the games worse than ET? Sword quest fire earth and water world for starters...

But its almost as bad as when someone complains about pac man being the worse port ever...it was what the second port ever? 4 bit gaming system hello...Pole Position, Krull, Mister Do, nothing like the arcade games.

When that's all you have in first gen consoles, sorry the games were not to bad.
Seems Et Baffled the 2600 crowd for having a game on more than one screen...

And Pacman...well least it tried to look like a game and not the red triangel vs the blue square game format.

The game crash was set up LONG before ET came out, it just happened in the middle of its release...
In the 80's when the economy was in the crapper and the game industry was kicking 20 games a month of junk, who could buy them all? Or even half of them.

Sorry, it's not a bad or horrible as people say. Like someone 30 years from now crying about the games of 2010 being baby toys cause you had to use your hands on a controler and not thoughtwaves. All about enjoying them at the time...

If not then there must be least 200 c-64 games worse than ET.

Do I have to even hint to the worst game ever? Too Human. Any game where I don't learn to move the character within 9 seconds is an extremely bad game. There should have been an acheivement for playing for more than five minutes and I use the term playing extremely loosely.

I think one of the worst games I ever played was Final Fantasy VII. Damn that was boring.

This is true. Atari's worst-sellers where only a plucked tile from the already doomed Jenga Tower that was the 80s game industry. There was no quality control, games were coming out like spam in an inbox, & just proved that "too many cooks spoil the broth."

Surprised no one's mentioned Pariah yet...

That, America's Army, Dead Rising, etc...

As for (READ:) disappointing, but not terrible games, Dante's Inferno, Halo: Reach and Prototype.

EDIT: And a award given to the future release of Max Payne 3. For taking the established setting, style, atmosphere, and gameplay and pissing all over it.

Also, for worst games ever, how in the hell did I forget MK VS DC Universe?
Let's see...Captain Marvel's voice acting pissed me off, Sonya looked like a man, crappy storyline, broken gameplay, the fact that it is IMPOSSIBLE to do the challenges because of the 360's d-pad, and the fact that it wasn't fun. It single-handedly ruined Mortal Kombat for me I think...unless the new MK comes out with an awesome demo.

Wow and I thought the troll insult gate would have opened.
Seriously, all these people who claim to label the worst games ever and use ET and Pacman...it get's as old as the urban myth of coke and pop rocks blowning up your stomach.

Eh, it was a new animal and a new age. It was expected they would gut the golden goose to find not a horde of golden eggs but goose shit eh?

Resistance 2, ironic because R:FOM was the best fps i ever played.
Same here, I hated everything about Resistance 2, but completely enjoyed Fall of man.
