We all have things that we regret. For some of us its that we let that special girl get away from us. For others its that they forgot to punch your little brother when he stole the last cookie, and others regret spending all there money on steam sales. This thread is for those who regret spending 60 of there hard earned dollars on a game that ended up being crap.

For me FF13 will always be this game. It is the embodyment of horrible game design. Looked nice though..

Two World 2, can't read shit on a regular def screen. Controls are beyond bad. Graphics are crap-tacular. Then I returned the game and got Marvel Versus Capcom 3. Best trade I've ever done.

Black Ops PC. Broken piece of shit, the singleplayer is decent, but it's so fucking glitchy in multiplayer that it's terrible.

One of the few games I've paid that much for was GTA IV, a game which I didn't really like at all.

The worst game I have in my collection(that I bought for $60)is Darksiders. Though there are many pros to this game, I completely regret spending so much money for this game. Bought it for the 360 and I have never seen so many hiccups in a game. Graphics were good, gore was good, but that's about all I can find good about this game. I know there are a lot of people that disagree with me on this, but I would have preferred to spend my money elsewhere.

Left 4 Dead on Xbox360. 60$ for 4 guns + 3 upgrades, 5 enemy types and 4 levels that doesn't even last 1 hour each. The zombies didn't stay on the floor, and there was no 4 players split screen. Valve fanboys might have appreciated wasting their money, but I am not one of them.

They did the impossible, make a bad and shallow game with a concept such as "kill zombies with friends".

lol I did the same, but for dc universe online. I got 2 copies, for bro and I to play online, but after an 2 hrs with that game I took mines back to the store. Also Lost planet 2 suxed for me. I expected a game where I'm fighting giant monsters all around, instead spent most of the time fighting shitty npc's and mech with the worst AI team I've ever seen in a game. I tried to make it work since co-op is fun, but I still regret buying it at release.

BF:BC2, maybe wasn't 60 but was at least 50.

*To date the balance system isn't working in BF:BC2*

Vampire Rain. Across six consoles and two hand-helds, that was the worst game I have ever bought or played. The graphics and and controls were fairly decent but the writing, the gameplay and everything else sucked hard. I returned it less than two weeks after buying it.

Bioshock. Now wait, I can feel that rage. Just let me explain.

When I buy games, I make sure I research the game to see what its about. To see if I actually want it. If I do, I buy it. If not, I don't. Its worked well for me.

With Bioshock, I did want it. Its just the game's not that great after you beat it. After that I lost all interest in it, and felt no need to return. It just didn't have any replay value to me. Its by no means bad, just not worth the $60 I payed.

Its the worst game I bought in the same way Cars was Pixar's worst movie. Its still pretty damn amazing, just not better than anything else in the library.

Silent Hill: Homecoming. It's the only Silent Hill game I ever returned. It wasn't scary in the least, the combat was buggy (despite being the sole focus of the game), and the storyline was trite and predictable. That's even before we get to the graphics: normally, graphics don't bother me, but Homecoming had it wrong on both ends. It tried to show every last detail of the monsters and environments, and thus eliminating the whole 'horror' aspect of wondering what's around the next corner, yet at the same time everything was so muddied and fuzzy that you only got a vague sense of what you were looking at (seriously, Shattered Memories was a way better looking game).

While it's not the worst game I've ever played, it's definitely the worst one I've ever bought.

Splinter Cell Conviction, a week into the damn game and the multiplayer was dead. Seriously what happened to the good ol' spies vs mercs? Why ax that, it was so fun!

I've never paid full price for games that I disliked. Sure, I haven't loved all the full price games that I have bought, but I have enjoyed them all.

I bought FF 11 and I thought for the longest time that it was the biggest waste of money I had ever spent ... then I bought Fable III collectors edition ... and finished it in 10 hours. Bleh
