Worst game you ever played that wasn't full of bugs/glitches?

I usually tend to forget bad games, but one that definitely sticks out would probably be Final Fantasy XII: the game basically played itself. Made for a really boring experience overall, and it doesn't help that that epic story was told about as flat as could be. I could see what they were trying to do, but it was one of the single most boring video game experiences of my life. It also made the same mistake Xenosaga made: they make it so it's fun to sneak by enemies without fighting them, and then punish you with insane increases in enemy levels that you have to grind for.

There are different kinds of "worse" for me.
Gone Home is one of the worst offenders in the "boring" department. It was so clichéd that I just couldn't stop rolling my eyes.
Brink is one of the most disappointing games I've ever played. It wasn't "bad", just completely mediocre in every aspect. Since I was really excited for it (like a lot of people), I seriously hated paying what I did for it.
FEAR 3 is the "worst" AAA (see next) sequel I've ever seen. I don't think I need to explain.

However, there are a few games that have all of these things, and I would say they are the worst I've played. Things like Dungeon Keeper Mobile, or RCT4. Things that literally make me hate the developers, publishers and all their families. Things that aren't only bad per se, but also in concept.
Yeah, I'd put all of those in the "worst" place in my list.

PS:
Of course, there are a lot of games that are so awful that barely even qualify as a piece of entertainment (more like an act of torture), but I usually don't play more than a couple minutes of them and forget them quickly.

What I saw people talking about was the "airport scene". Where you run through fighting the waves of thugs while this song plays:

Which I think is a badass song, and the various comments I saw from people were basically "That stage was fucking fun as hell". That's pretty much my entire bit of knowledge on the subject, as I said I stopped playing. xD And I can see how that would be fun, for me personally, music has a powerful effect, so running around a stage while that song plays could be really badass to experience. Sadly it means playing through all of MP 3 again. xD
That section is pretty good, it kinda goes on too long like most sections in the game. And, again, there's a lot of long range shooting in that area, what I feel the shooting of MP3 doesn't really excel at. You have 2 levels in that section so, of course, there's annoying enemies on the top level. You do have some decent maneuverability in that area (as opposed to most sections) as it's basically a wide and very long rectangle. That "boss fight" I mentioned happens just after that airport section in a hanger. That police station level is way better IMO.

At least Modern Warfare 3 was crap in a so-bad-it's-good way. That game was clearly the result of a developer exploding (which it did) and desperately trying to finish the game with what they had left. Potential was both found and missed. It's a shame given that of the eleven main title games in the series, I only think two of them are outright bad[footnote]No, I don't think Call of Duty 3 is a bad game. It's just not a particularly good one.[/footnote]. I very much doubt even a Ghosts 2 could be as thoroughly average as its predecessor was, but it's still gonna be shit which is sad coming from what once were the developers of CoD 4.
MW3 was pretty much the result of IW being gutted/quitting En masse because Activation was trying to screw the team over the promises made regarding MW2 and a new team desperately trying to imitate what made the first two games awesome and only halfway getting it.

It's really a shame too, because while some of the missions are fricken awesome(the two in Paris and the final mission at the Hotel were wonderfully done), quite a few of the missions didn't make sense, even within the context of the plot and it feels like half the plot was just kind of left hanging in the wind. That whole bit about TF-141 being betrayed and framed, prompting Soap and Price to kill a Top US officer? Pretty much just goes away without any real resolution near the end, because the writers either forgot about or or hoped the player would("Just put in some more explosions and they won't notice").

It's so bizarre how half this game feels like a real sequel to MW2 and the other half feels like a bad Micheal Bay movie, but the two halves were mixed up in a blender.

Didn't even bother with Ghosts, because it seems stupid(even by the standards of this series) and racist/xenophobic(Really? Latin America is gonna invade the US? Did Rush Limbaugh write the plot for this one?). OTOH, I'll probably grab AW when it gets cheap, if for no other reason then to see Kevin Spacey play a COD villian.

Go for it: Advanced Warfare is ridiculous and it knows it. Everything from set pieces to little details (like the stealth kill in a secret mansion style mission) are designed to be over the top and a fun spectacle. The plot doesn't seem to be so intrusive either. It's there and there are a bunch of the first person cutscene things, but it's also silly enough to fit in with the gameplay. The multiplayer doesn't have good flow though. It's not bad, it just never gripped me like most of the games did before. Survival is more fun than MW3's.

Yeah. MW3 is a lot of fun in spite of how broken it is. I enjoy it more than I do MW2, but I do acknowledge that it's not the superior game.

WCW Nitro. It's been a while since I played, but I don't think there were any bugs or glitches in the game. The gameplay was just underwhelming and the overall presentation was forgettable. Only good thing about it was the wrestling promos you can prompt on the Character Select screen. Considering this game came out the same year as WCW vs. nWo World Tour for the N64, there's no excuse for it being so bad. Just none.

Then they turn around and make the same game, just colored blue and renamed Thunder.
