I have to say probably Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II for original Xbox. It was just... I beat it, but it just held little to no entertainment value for me. The only reason I played it was because I made the stupid mistake of buying it and I'd beat all my other games.

Ready? Ya ready for it? I've got two:

Lost Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Now, to be fair, for all I know LO is really good as far as JRPG's go, but when I played it it was so boring it was nothing short of painful. I actually clocked it, and for the first ten hours--the point where I gave up to go hit myself with a hammer--forty minutes out of every hour were cutscenes, and the rest was either following hyperlinear pathways or working my way through the mind-numbing combat system. It might've been really good past that point, and it might've been an excellent JRPG, but it was so slow, plodding, predictable, and bland that I literally broke down crying at the 9 1/2 hour mark.

Secondly, Twilight Princess: take what I just mentioned (Boring, boring, BORING!), only change the plot around so that it doesn't make a lick of sense and add boring real-time combat instead of boring turn-based combat. Oh, and stupid made-for-walkthrough scratchn'sniff puzzles. Lotsa those.

Resident Evil 4
Is too easy. I ended having a lot of sprays and ammunition and gold (is a survival-horror game, and you can´t be scared if you could start the third WW just with the guns you are carrying around) The combat is rutinary. Probably the most overrated game of last years.

And that too, it´s even easier that RE4. And started playing it on hard co-op.

Probably some game(the name escapes me) I bought used a long time ago for the original Xbox the best thing it had going for it which was proudly displayed on the back of the box was that it had no loading screens. Or maybe that was a bad thing because it meant a quicker return to the shitty gameplay. Also the games Batman Vengence and Heroes of Might And Magic.

Prototype. Not because it was a really horrible game, just because it was horrible, I'm just really careful about which games I buy.

Fable is probably the most disappointing until now. But apart from that I do not have any "worst" game.
It just had a very artificial world, a poor combat, the morality system was just not so good and simply I didn't like it.
Now, I do not want to start a flame war, but I just didn't found this game fun.

I played this game that was called something like "Earth Defence Force 2120" or something. Some kind of year I'm too lazy to look it up. It was so bad, but it was HILARIOUS because it was so bad. Me and my friend played it for 5 hours straight just laughing our asses off.

Either that or...

Modern Warfare 2, its a fine game, its just sooo freaking overplayed...and basically an exact copy of the last one except people took A LOT of drugs when they created the plot. it really just brutally killed the fps genre with a knife... a very blunt one...
It's like you took the words right out of my mouth...

I know, I know, everyone has their opinion. And the games not horrible, it's just...

It wasn't great. It wasn't even good. But because so many are deluding themselves into thinking it's the "BEST SHOOTER, EVAR!!!" all of the gaming companies are trying to copy it's design, ruining the fps genre. All the hard work that Halo and Call of Duty 4 had done to bring good story into fps games, and it goes down the tubes...

Unreal 2: The Awakening for the original Xbox is hands down the worst game of all time. The graphics were so poor it made the original Castlevania look next-gen. When you killed an enemy, they would fall in frames. As in, one still shot of him getting hit. Another of him falling down. And the last of him being on the ground. It was like playing against cardboard opponents.

My brother and I didn't know any better, and we thought it was going to be as good as Unreal Tournament. We were so very very wrong.

Worst I've ever played is Action 52. 52 games and all of them are absolute tripe on a bike.

The game I've HATED the most, however, was Mass Effect. No idea what the big fucking deal.
Lol, that's a funny game, action 52.

Without a doubt Unlimited SaGa. Now ive broken controllers over games before, and once a console by accident (IE slung the controller across the room and the console came crashing with it.) But never had I ever, and never since have I actually ripped apart a game with my bear hands.

Kessen from Koei is definitely a close second.

I would be inclined to agree on the notion of Two worlds.

Darkwatch for ps2/xbox

FlatOut

See.. the problem with this thread is the fact that typically when one comes across a truly horrendous game, they tend to try to block it out of their memory. I know I have, because I have been sitting here, thinking of about two dozen horrible games ive played, but cant figure out what they were called.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon for the original Xbox. My sister has this uncanny ability to pick out the worst game of any bunch, and she bought it one day because it had karate in it and she does karate. It was horrible in every conceivable way.
Karate? Karate like the new Karate Kid movie set in China?
