I was just about to say this too. It was especially painful for me because it was the first title I bought after I stopped playing World of Warcraft (my 360 collected dust for 6 months). I was incredibly hyped for this game and played the demo a gazzilion times. I tried to convince myself I loved it but when I finally got to the 3rd chapter I caved in... Unlimited Saga. I should've known better, but I claim it is the worst $3 I've ever spent. It's confusing and unfun.
Will I be brutally murdered if I said Oblivion and Fallout 3 are both top contenders?
-No focus on the story/drive
-Bad animations
-Laughable combat (fine, I'll give you V.A.T.S., but it only lasted so long)
-Fallout 3 had awful graphics (Oblivion hasn't stood the test of time either)
-3 voice actors between the two games (exaggeration, but seemed like it)
-Big, empty world.
Seriously disappointed, especially with all the reviews.

Risen
I like some of the elements but it has a few things that irk me the wrong way:
1) Selling/buying stuff, you buy at 100% of the marked price and can only sell at 10% of the original price.
2) Gaining xp is freaking tedious. They should make Risen a damn MMORPG; has enough grind to qualify as one.
And finally...
3) Seems like the game is only made for Warriors. I want to punch the dev who came up with the stealth and magic bits. Speaking of which, I play as a Mage in games mostly and like that fact that magic in Risen can be used for utilitarian purposes. BUT...you get so little mana, you only get a handful of spells, said spells are weak as hell, and it takes forever to cast. I could harp on it some more but getting to the stealthy bits; sneaking isn't effective for anything so the "thief" class is in essence just a VERY dexterous "warrior."
Seems like it could have been a nice RPG if only they solved some of the gameplay issues.
