Spore; from the moment it hits you that you've got absolutely nothing to do and the most fun you had on the game was making a walking penis monster.

Retrospectively I say Medal of Honor: Rising Sun for the Gamecube. Yes I enjoyed it at the time, but when I look back at it...I can say "lulz, that's just too much failure" The graphics were áwfull, just dreadfull. You could count the damned pixels. The gameplay was also scaringly linear, I mean the jungle levels were really just a straight path, the shitty graphics hammered on that. The AI was also laughable, so incredibly stupid, I never seen it thát bad. They just ran towards my guns, only shooting things next to me, it was horrible.

Come to think of it, I think that game ties with Medal of Honor. At least it's the worst game I bought this year. Incredibly overhyped, the designertools ended up being really uninspiring although I managed to make a pretty convincing dingo [http://eu.spore.com/sporepedia/view.cfm?id=500072228793&back=ms] if you ask me (the REALLY retarted stuff at my Spore page are made by my little sister, I hate it when other people acces my own game account), and some other pretty cool creatures imo. The gameplay itself cannot be more shallow and simple.

About Chaos Theory:
Although stealth games aren't my thing, I really liked the game, and managed to pull off some intens moments. I didn't find the graphics horrible as well, far from it actually.

Worst Game: Lord of the Rings: The Third Age

The game pissed me off because the story was so horribly bad when it had so much promise. Also there were like 5 enemies in the entire f'n game.

Runner Up: Eve Online - boring as hell.

Superman 64

it was the single most painful experience in my entire life.
You're just lucky you didn't play the Superman Gameboy game. That thing made Superman 64 fun.

It's a tight spot inbetween E.T (Atari 2600) and Superman (also Atari 2600), they are both terrible D:

About two or three years ago, before the 360 was out, my brother and I had really gotten into Unreal Championship (1 or 2). Went to gamestop looking to buy the thing and stumble upon a game called "Unreal" in the same font and everything, we were fooled. BIG MISTAKE. It was sooooo shitty. When you killed the enemies they fell in frames!! It took us a while to get over that disappointment.

i know that this has probably been done before but im too lazy to search for it right now.

Whats the worst game youve ever played and for what reasons made it the worse?

for me it was Legendary. i thought that game was going to be good, the concept was pretty cool and the trailers and vidocs were pretty cool, but then again they only showed the highlights that happened in the beginning when the creatures were coming into the modern world. but what made it a bad gaming experience for me was the way it felt. i felt like i had minimal control over my guy even though it was a fps. i was running through the streets while gryphons were grabbing cars and people alike, think that it was kinda cool and that it might get better. as time went on and i was getting an achievement every thirty seconds i found out that this was going to get dull real fast. then the thing that made me switch over to fallout was when the people that get dropped into the streets and start shooting at you could take four clips to the chest while i had to hit one of the creatures in the head twice and they fell over dead. I didnt even make it pas the first level.
What!? This is an absolute mess. Always start a new sentence with a capital letter! It's not hard, you hold down the shift key while pressing the desired key on your keyboard.

You're suggesting that the game is too easy. Try the following:

Settings>Difficulty>Hard>Save.

Then it shouldn't be too easy. I actually thought the Minotaur was quite tough in the demo. At least they were trying something different from the usual FPS crap.

While I'm sure legendary isn't great you obviously have no idea about the actual worst games ever.
ok man, this asked about the worst game U have ever played... not the worst game in the world

AYE! I thought it was pretty good. Opinions opinions.

Out of everything, I'd probably have to go with Superman 64. I wonder if anyone's actually beaten it. Though there's plenty of others that are bad, nothing was ever so infuriating, repetitive, and awkward to control compared to it.

:EDIT:
Somebody mentioned it, so I had to bring it back up. Sonic 2006. That's a close tie for Superman 64. Sonic Unleashed also had some terrible, terrible, unforgivably bad gameplay elements in it too.

Halo 3... and Halo 2 maybe....

Halo 1 is still the better of the three
That would be Halo 3 then, H2 just takes the core ideas of Halo and simplifies them with buggy dual wielding, 3 takes a dump on them unless you are blinded by the MP side of it.....

Armorines: Project S.W.A.R.M

Maybe not the worst but that came to my mind right off the bat for some odd reason.
That was fun, neat and better made than

JERICHO....... *shudders*
AI and level design/layout that makes DOOM look good............

I kinda liked aiden had alot of nice elements but had some nasty bugs.
Of coarse that's before I become annoyed with most stupid or lack luster design elements....
