I got two, one about a bad player, one about me being a bad player (but justified)
Was playing HALO 3...
Yeah...that far back...
Anyway, I was playing HALO 3, got sorted in with an entire team on Party Chat who were saying NOTHING to me. SO I try to stick with them, but the morons keep getting themselves whacked and me along with, so I stick to the Warthog. They apparently took exception to my driving because after the match, I left that group and revived a verbal message from one of the guys on the other team berating me about how much I sucked and how I should die because of how worthless I am. I sent a message back telling him how his buddies had been in private chat and teamwork is rather hard when nobody says anything.
The other time was recent, playing Battlefield 3 Conquest
My friend and I were playing in the same server for a couple hours, and the teams were pretty set. But we went into one match and the teams went from being 8-8 balanced, to 4-12 stacked against us. Everybody had team jumped and there was no way there was going to be a fair fight. The two other players on the team left and told us to leave. My buddy and I decided we were going to bail, but I thought we should just hide outside their map and run out the clock.
Just a token 'go fuck yourselves' gesture, you might win but you won't kill us. That kinda thing. Well, we're sitting back and hiding from the enemy chopper, and we have a russian jeep. My buddy is engineer, and I have this idea to really tell the other team to fuck off. I plant C4, damage the jeep, jump in and have my buddy repair it.
We kept going until he was the MVP of the match at 970 points.
Next map, everyone who had jumped teams quit the game.
Yeah, my buddy and I boosted, but damn, it was fucking SATISFYING to win that small victory. Sometimes, two wrongs do make a right, or at least, knowing we'd managed to piss off the entire enemy team was worth it.
