Fallout 3, there were just a lot of little things that bothered me and the story was kind of... eesh.

Bethesda, get someone else to write your main stories, come on now.

Metroid Prime:Hunters is probably the Worst game in the Metroid Series.
Though its anything but a Horrible Game.

I really liked it, it had its week points, mostly the Cluttered Bottom Screen that messed with the Controls and the Bosses.
It was the Same 2 two Bosses the ENTIRE GAME.
Just upgraded Versions each time...
Though the Final boss was fun.

But it was also a Good FPS on the DS with a interesting Story, simple controls once you get used to them, cool Weapons, and fun Multiplayer.
Nintendo really got lazy with the bosses in it. It was okay and I got it for free so I won't complain too much about it.

OT: I actually didn't enjoy Pokemon Diamond/Pearl as much as Ruby/Sapphire. It was okay but I didn't like the villains or the story as much. That and my rival was a nice guy. You can't give dickish names to guys who are nice!
Lazy?
I guess that's a word for it.
:p

Really, the Bosses were the only thing that Pissed me off about the game.
Boss one, a Giant Watch tower, ehh ok of a first boss.
Boss two, a Giant Eye, interesting...and creepy.
Every boss after those two...the same Damn thing, with only minor alterations.
Like the Tower now shoots homing Plasma or moves.
Or the Eye now has more Energy before it detaches from the wall and rams you.
Friggen bs...

And yea, it was weird playing a Pokemon game where your Rival was nice.
Its almost a tradition that your rival is a Jerk.

Well Fallout 3's story was lack luster, the gameplay improved the series. New Vegas is gonna be awesome cause it has the Awesome Story Telling of Fallout 1 and 2, with the great gameplay of Fallout 3

In anime: in the series Darker than Black I hated the second season: Ryūsei no Gemini.

In games: Dawn of War 2, Silent Hill after 4, COD4, Far Cry 2, and Fallout 3.

Well, actually, they'll be fixing the problems I had with Fallout 3.
They'll give it a good story, a faction system and you can finally aim down your iron-sights as opposed to being dependant on V.A.T.S.

Here's looking forward to Fallout 4 powered with that new graphics engine id got Bethesda, too.
Hopefully it won't be too long after New Vegas...

Dawn of War Soulstorm was just horribly disappointing after the awesome that was Dark Crusade. Dark Eldar and the Nuns with guns are the new races? Oh...The flying units are really just normal units, and them flying really doesn't affect much? Oh....The campaign is a half-assed retread of DC's? Oh.....

And don't get me started on those horrible load times.

Mario Kart Wii. No 2 player Grand Prix and annoying requirements to unlock many of the characters.
The game in the Burnout Series right after 3. I don't know the name. But I thought it was terrible. Mostly being able to drive through cars.
Harvest Moon Magical Melody. Just the look in it was horrible.
Resident Evil 5. It sure was an action game.
Mortal Kombat Armageddon. Mediocre game.

I despise Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. 2 and 3? I adore, but the first one was just plain meh. Sly 2 still holds as my favorite game on the PS2.

I really didn't know what to expect for the D/P rival, so I ended up naming him after my best friend when I was a kid (who I haven't seen in years). Hilariously, said rival's personality matched said friend's exactly! XD

OT: Anyone involved in the creation of "Majesty 2: A Fantasy Kingdom Sim" should die a painful death!

Other than that... I can't think of any real disappointments. Most of the games I like are either standalone or part of a solid (usually short) series with only minor gripes. Let's just say that my favourite developer is Bioware and leave it at that.

My favorite series is Kingdom Hearts and the worst installment would have to be V Cast. It's nothing but a sad excuse to make money.

Metroid would have to be my favorite ongoing SERIES out there.

And to be honest, I would have to say that the first one is probably the worst. This isn't just because of how it's hard to play classic NES games these days, but says more about just how great the following games have been. Metroid on the NES was stellar! and the games following it just keep getting better.

I played through Disgaea 2 before the first one, and was ready to throw my psp out a window at the horrible ending. I've since played the first and frankly found it much, much better than the 2nd. Both games are great on content and fun to play, but I found the first one's story to be hilarious while the second's just seemed like one of those "Wow, I can't believe our first game did so well, so let's completely forget about what made it great in the interest of getting another one out there as soon as possible" kind of games. Haven't had the chance to play the third one yet, by the way.

Also, I'm going to predict that when Bioshock Infinite is released, I'll be saying the exact same thing about it. "Hey guys, we've got a creepy underwater atmosphere with 10 bajilllion psi and psychotic DNA-zombies waiting around every corner! That sold well, so let's copy and paste it into the peaceful and mostly non-threatening upper stratosphere! Nothing could possibly go wrong..."
