Thats pretty damn hard, in Megaton it's extreamly hard unless you desrtoyed it which I'm gussing you gunna. Ten Penny tower is easy if you have a high enough sneak, just pickpocket the sleeping for more sneak skill then kill them. Do the same with the gaurds.

In far cry 2 I was trying to scout every guard post in the game on the hardest difficulty (I don't care if the hardest difficulty is Hard, I haven't started a new game in a while.) using only the first pistol after starting a new game. In one session. So I went and I did my thing, but on the last post, and the last guard, I ran out of ammo. I decided to make a small exception to my rules by using my machete, but he shot me down just while I was pulling it out.
That was the first one of my epic gaming marathons to EVER fail. And now to fallout 3, to kill everyone in towns in the game. IN ONE SESSION.
My sniper rifle shattered on me when i was upclose giving noscopes. I died.

In Oblivion I was an Invisible Archer (as what I call it) which means I sneak around and pick people off with sneak attacks getting loads of extra dammage then piking them off before they can get to me.

Off course this means I suck at magic. So I was wondering around and I found a Troll, so I didn't know that they have regenerating health or are practicaly invincible to arrows. So I shot him, he regenerated his health and brought two other friends with him. I run for my life and try to sneak my way out of it and hide behind a rock.

But ontop of the rock was two fire imps that started shooting at me. So I run away and run head first into the 3 trolls. At this point I have next to no health and I remember that I was born under the sighn of the shadow, this means I have a spell that allows me to become invisible for 60 seconds. So I engage my cloak and start running. Sadly the trolls start attacking the imps, one fire imp misses and the fire ball hitts me, killing me instantly.

I thought I was going to get away and watch a nice fight from the shadows while healing myself, but no, that stupid imp had to ruin my day.
Fireball sniped.

What is your worst gaming moment?
Mine would be in Fallout3, walking halfway across the map and getting mauled by three deathclaws. Or, Falling into deathclaw sanctuary at level 5, (I got my rewards though,)
Lol. "I swear they came out of effing NOWHERE!!!!" Yea, that happened to me a lot. I kept walking back though at the promise of a cool new gun.

I'd say just last night. I beat Mass Effect on the hardcore difficulty. 30+ hours of ME goodness, and no achievement at the end... Damnit.

A spy in team fortress 2 came into the base disguised as me, i kept shooting it with a pistol but he wouldn't die, he called me a spy and my teammates turned to spycheck me, they both got backstabbed. They must've been new.

Playing Halo: CE. Im in a hog, someone else shoots two rockets at me from another hog. First one sends me into the air, second one hits me in mid-air.

It was hilarious, but I still got owned :p

I accidentally went to an area of that enormous tower in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within that I had previously completed when right at the end of the game. I thought "Well, that's no big deal, I'll just parkour myself out." Wrong.

I jumped, flipped, wall-run, and sliced my way through that mechanical clock-like level, got to the end where you have to jump onto a platform just before the final exit. I wall-run onto the platform perfectly, but the Prince fell through. Thinking it was a mistake, I ran through half the level again to try. Got to the final platform, jumped onto it, and the Prince got his feet stuck in the ground, was running on the spot, and slowly sliding through the platform. Being the determined type, tried one more time. This time I got stuck in the platform yet again, but tired to wall-run up the wall beside it to get myself out of the ground. Nope, this somehow ended up propelling me at about 80mph into the opposite wall, then down the large drop.

It was impossible to get further in the game. I actually shrieked like a banshee when the realisation set in.

Still haven't completed that game.

Fallout 3: Running away from a sniper when i set off a trap which exploded on me.I survived but the sniper missed me and hit the car near me. I didn't survive that one :D

Unreal Tournament 3:A buddy and me were dueling. He had me on the run, so i turn around and fired a few rockets at him while i was turning a corner and hit the wall instead.

I still havn't completed Hl2 because i'd rather shoot stuff than work out puzzles :/

That aside i say you take another shot at the game, i played some old games a few days ago and found them really easy.

Minefield, that exact same thing has happened to me.

Spawning in the middle of a group of 5 enemies in Call of Duty: World at War when playing online.
What the hell is wrong with the spawn system in that game!?

In Persona 3 on the full moon where Shinji and Ken are not in your party. I was extremely underleveled (Average level of my party without them was like 32) and relied on them for everything.

Every five seconds on GTA4, that game is designed to screw you over.

The one time you hit somebody theres a cop, the one time you crash its at a cornor requiring you to do a K turn, don't even think of getting on a motorbike.
I really want to see their cop spawning code, because they always spawn where I'm going to hit them.

One of my friends told me about mario kart wii, Being in 10th and having the guy in 9th throwing red shells backward at him.. lol

Personally though? FF7 and 8
7 it is just so hard to use a heal spell on the right character.... not the bad guys
8 Fighting Raijin and Fujin, casted triple on the healer (Rinoa) and used shell to prevent getting pwned by tornado,
Later i tried healing all my teammates ( Curaga ) and each one bounces off and heals Raijin...

For some reason Mario Kart springs to mind here... racing really well, being in first the whole way then several blue shells or something similar smash into me and knock me into fifth or something equally as bad. Seems to happen a lot more with the newest one for some unknown reason.
Mario Kart Syndrome.
Pretty much the most documented case where a game knows you are winning and does not like it.

Mario Kart must have some kind of Ai direction like L4D. If you're winning it'll spawn millions of blue shells and surely leave you shellshocked.
