Sphinx, the obscure but awesome Adventure game. There is a major glitch where if you use one of the save block things it blocks the passage way and you can't go anyfurther. Quite an annoyance.

Anyone who has played assassin's creed will probably have done this. Climbed up to a view point then, when trying to do a leap of faith onto something soft, jumped in the wrong direction and faceplanted in the street.

I remember an instance in GTA San Andres where I had to go somewhere with Sweet. Some car made a detour over the sidewalk for some strange reason and ran him over, mission failed.

I had something similar to this. The very start of the game: I cycle across the train tracks at the EXACT moment the train decides to come along.

Playing battlefield bad company multiplayer, attacking the gold rush varient of Oasis, killed about 10 people with the knife in 1 life and was top of the game (35 points per kill rather than about 10 for killing with a gun). See another 7 sitting facing about 90 degrees away from me so I pull out my knife again and prepare to slice though them, get up to the first one, as my character slices... my team runs out of reinforcements and we lose the game. And to add insult to injury, the 2nd place who was on their team took 1st place from me with the 50 point bonus that he gets for his team winning.

CoD4 and WaW, getting noob tubed or noob grenaded on Search and Destory.

I've said before, grenades are my nemesis.

Yeah I think they go out of their way just to hit me. I got killed by a grenade and when I watched the killcam I saw that the grenade had been thrown into a window to flush out a sniper, but instead it went in the window and travelled straight through and out of a window on the opposite wall, landing in front of me on the street.

Mario Kart "rubberbanding" and horrible CoD4 respawn areas always annoy me.
Also, every single time I play Mario Party (3,4,6,209), I have the absolute worst luck. I ALWAYS win those minigames, but in about 80% of my games, I land on a Bowser space.

i have two, one was I playing a tomb raider game (yea her) i walked out of a hallway and the game frooze Oo that was it every time I loaded it and walked outta that hall it frooze!!!

and there was Dooom!!! I was at a high level 15 or 16 or so I forget, and well, I had my rocket launcher and aimed it at a monster head demon, fired and the nice explosion 2 inches away from me due to an invisible wall killed me in a very funny way, I restarted the lvl with a hand gun and 6 demons coming after me -_- was fun, and hateful, i missed me weapons

Crouching as a spy next to a sniper in Team Fortress 2 waiting to cross in front of him, knowing that he will take a shot right when I do decide to cross. I cloak and try to dash in front of him, sure enough, he fires and hits me straight in the side of the head.

I drop like a sack of potatoes, we lose the arena match, sniper gets "Shoot the Breeze" achievement and types "Lol" into chat.

I'm not sure if it was bad luck since I did it myself, but I was playing Farcry 2. I've had several experiances before where I didn't save because I didn't think I would have to and then had to replay several hours all over again. These experiences had made me a reflexiv gamesaver. I was doing the mission where you drive a truck full of explosive material into a garage and then blow the truck up. The truck had gotten wedged into the garage in just a way that I couldn't get out of either door so the game threw me in the back of the truck. Suddenly, a save game thing popped up I reflexively saved my game. Once It was done saving I realised that there was no way out of the truck. The explosives were blocking my way and I couldn't jump. I felt like an idiot.

One of my friends told me about mario kart wii, Being in 10th and having the guy in 9th throwing red shells backward at him.. lol

Personally though? FF7 and 8
7 it is just so hard to use a heal spell on the right character.... not the bad guys
8 Fighting Raijin and Fujin, casted triple on the healer (Rinoa) and used shell to prevent getting pwned by tornado,
Later i tried healing all my teammates ( Curaga ) and each one bounces off and heals Raijin...

That isn't poor luck, just idiocy.

Every five seconds on GTA4, that game is designed to screw you over.

The one time you hit somebody theres a cop, the one time you crash its at a cornor requiring you to do a K turn, don't even think of getting on a motorbike.

I was doing the 'If The Price is Right' missio and both times I crashed the driver off the road, first time i shot him, then highjacked the truck but had to wait for Phil who got shot to the ground 7 times and then died -.-
The second time I tried to hijack it and the guy teleported out the car and machinegunned me from the passenger seat killing me in under a second.

This reminds me of when i was playing the godfather. Successfully robbed a bank for about 50 grand and was leaving to try and make a run back to a safehouse. I'd parked a car outside for a quick getaway. I come out and it's gone! Evidently I didn't see the no parking signs and got towed!

That happens far too often, but the dead ringer is a must against snipers.

real shame, knife kills are so much more rewarding.

You know that vault in Fallout 3 you can be locked in?
I got my ass stuck in there and saved...

I got a quicksave while a rocket was just about to connect with my face, load game and Ka-Boom!
