Playing Left 4 Dead, my group was advancing through a parking garage. A tank is spawned on the second level. We whittle it down to a sliver of health...and suddenly, it realizes it's surrounded by two-ton metal projectiles. It smashes a car into my other three teammates (Killing them instantly) as I pump a final shotgun shell into it.

lol lots of funny stuff in this thread but i have pretty bad luck in video games, not all the time but once the shit parade starts it only gets worse and i'm a stubborn bastard.
The one that comes to mind at the moment is GTA3. Now if you remember GTA3 has no in game map, making R3 missions a big pain in the ass (basically you have to memorize the map and the spawn locations) with the ambulance missions being the biggest assface of them all. In this mission you must complete 12 lvls of picking up injured ppl and bringing em to the hospital, each lvl has as many ppl as the lvl number. That totals to 78 passangers which you must pick up without being able to repair your car or get out. I get to 76 passengers and i'm on the way back to the hospital with the last two bastards when some kinda self-sabotaging, self-loathing twitch occurs in my hand and I hit triangle and jump out of the ambulance... wasting an hour worth of flawless zen like driving and patience. Ive also managed to cream a passanger i was picking up on lvl 12 by backing into him.
GTA has taught me to roll with the punches, though games like WoW and certain fps can still make me RAGE!
