Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia). He's a douchebag, he uses the word 'bastard' WAY too much, and he's just all around unpleasant and unlikeable. The fact that he's voiced by Robin from Teen Titans doesn't make much better, because HE was a douchebag too. I hate the fact that he's so overpowered and could even be called necessary for some of the battles, thus forcing me to use him, even though I hate him.

*Psst* Vaan wasn't the main character. He just serves as the eyes of the audience. FF12 was Ashe's story.
I've played with much worse but the one that recently annoyed me was Alex Mercer from Prototype. Has has absolutely no personality except his non ending struggle against the people who made him into what he is.
I mean for heaven's sakes after he discovers that he isn't a human he drops contact with his sister, leaving a gaping wide plot hole in the story that you could drive a aircraft carrier through.

Sheva from RE5 I have no idea where she from but her accent started to change.

Rikku Yuna, and the other one, from FFX2. It's the fact that i firmly beleive these 3 couldn't fight, it's not 'cos they're girls. Nearly every girlfriend i've ever had has made a habbit of smacking me silly, yes i've beaten up (a bit) by a girl. If you don't get what i'm saying, either play the game of whatch any gameplay footage and i'm sure you'll agree.

He fails the Naughty Dog acid test in my eyes.
His looks are, well, uninspired. His pretty much your standard pretty boy with 'witty' remarks and that's it.
Compared to the mute crazy (Crash) and the badassed duo (Jak & Daxter), he just doesn't do it for me...
