That line of ads made the gaming community look bad, sending a message to world that the primary reason gamers of all ages love games is because they are ultra-violent and their mothers hate said ultra-violent games...and that is just really really stupid.

Another vote for "your mom's gonna hate it" marketing for Dead Space 2. The game is rated Mature, so if I need to be mature to play it then who the fuck cares if my mom will hate it?! Come on EA as many problems as gaming has with younger kids playing mature games your whole marketing for the game is going to be "your mom's going to hate it"? Just stupid. Also the whole "sin to win" contest for Dante's Inferno deserves a mention.

I'm 15 (Oh no, I'm underaged!) and my mum likes dead space 2...
She actually knows, because I explained it to her, and she understands, when I'm angry, I game to relieve my anger, so it affect's no one else. If I'm out, say at school, I keep it silent, then just game at home.
