It's got to be a tie between getting 2 surgically teeth pulled that had turned into giant growths (something that only happens to one in every 20,000, and I had 2) when I threw up blood for the next week, or when I dislocated my shoulder.....3 times......

Having to pull out that string that fed anasthetic into my shoulder after the reconstruction of it that was 11 inches long, and rooted in my skin, wasn't fun either. But I'm sure we all have sickening medical stories :D

I got landed on by a fat guy while I was playing football (that's American football). I broke my tibia in two places and my fibula in one, both by my ankle, and I tore an ankle ligament. I needed surgery and now I have an 8 inch titanium plate in my leg that's held there by 8 metal screws. :)

Once got dehydration so bad that I became useless as a human. Yeah, I was delirious and I felt like I had to barf, but I couldn't. I also had a nasty headache at the same time.

Not exactly an illness, but I once fell flat on my face when I was about 6 and my upper lip got ripped all the way up to my nose. I'm 19 now and its healed up well, the only scar from it is inside my mouth.

Um well not too long ago I accidentally ripped my right kneecap out of it's socket and spent 6 weeks with a leg cast on.

As for illness:

I have a genetic heart defect called "Hyper Trophic Cardio Myopathy".

It basically means that every now and then my heart will beat irregularly and can cause some problems later in life should it become serious.

I got the gene from my dad........thanks for that by the way Daddy.

I had warts... on my hands. At first there were only a few, so they froze them off. Painful but really no big deal. Then the warts spread and for some reason freezing didn't work. So the doctors injected each individual wart with a yeast culture so my body would go to fight the yeast and take the wart down with it. That wouldn't have been so bad if there weren't twenty on each hand and me having a fear of needles (thats gone now). So when that didn't work they tried something new, something they called Beetle juice. It is the excretion of a south american beetle that causes thick blisters on contact with the skin. It was fast, painless, and really cool for a 13 year old to learn about. It worked. Never had a wart since.

I broke my clavicle while playing basketball, which was quite painful for the first week and then just annoying for a subsequent month and a half. Not very impressive, but that's the worst I've had.

Either dehydration or strep throat. I think. Dehydration sucked big time, but strep made it so I hated drinking water.

I was shot point blank in the knee with a 9mm and it fucked up my knee cap quite a bit.
I've also broken my leg and had one of the bones push out through the skin.
