A flu and diarrhea on Thanksgiving day. I may not have gotten my epic turkey dinner, but at least I got to catch up on Assassin's Creed (this was over two years ago :p).

About three years ago, I got a really bad flu-thing. I was totally fine, until one morning, I woke up with a really bad headache, the kind you get when you're about to throw up, so I wandered over to the washroom and fainted, sliding backwards into the bathtub. I came to, and dragged myself back into bed, where I proceeded to freeze half to death under three duvet covers for a few days. For about a month after, I was coughing up phlegm.

Also, the original illness set in on a long weekend, so I didn't end up missing more than a day of school. GAAAH. x3

Definitely having pleurisy a few years back. My lungs felt like they were on fire, basically had to stay completely immobile and avoid talking for a couple of weeks. Then I got a cold...try coughing with pleurisy. The only positive was it gave me a LOT of time to look for my Feebas square in pkmn Emerald.

When I was a little kid I used to have horible fevers. When the fever 'broke' (Temperature goes down) I would have absolutely horrible nightmares. The fact that the fever already made me dillusional in the first place, even when i was awake, didnt help either. That was the worst part of being sick for me, hands down. The good news is that i havnt had one of those in ~15 years.

Hmm, never been severely ill. Worst I've had is a mild headache that was just an inconvenience, along with sneezing a few times an hour.

I don't get sick all too often, but when I do, it usually messes up my diabetes quite a lot. Bloods go up and down like a roller-coaster. Not fun.
Oh, and if you'd consider having diabetes as being ill, than having low blood sugar levels. Also not fun, at all.

Had chicken pox. Pharmacist gave me the wrong medication, an anti-psychotic. Spent an afternoon talking to the cartoon characters on my bedsheets.

My worst moment of illness would be when I got H1N1 and was basically bed-ridden by myself for something like, 17 hours.

Horrible stomach ache, terrible fever, migrane, acheness all over my body... Overall that wasn't very pleasent.

I hate when You want to vomit but can't. You know if you puked it would make all the stomach pain go away and make you feel a hell of a lot better but I don't puke.

Food poisoning. I was throwing up every ten minutes and ruined three pairs of underwear. After my stomach had been emptied of everything else, I started throwing up some strange yellow goo. No idea what that was.
It's bile. Rather disgusting. Really acid-y.
I would know, spent 4 days in hospital with a bad reaction between gastro and my insulin mixture, hurling that crap up every 2-ish hours, along with the worst headache I had, even my brother couldn't compare his hangovers to it. And on top of that, friggin' IV drips changed every day for a week.

I hate diabetes.

Hell, I know EXACTLY what you've been going through.
Almost went out like a light on my Year 3 camp.
Did a glucose check, 17.8
5 minutes later, another one, just says LO.

Teachers shat bricks trying to get me to eat.
Not good when you're meant to go for a swim in 10 minutes.

Throwing up is the worst moment hands down. I don't mean just the part where you are puking your guts into the crapper. There is a pre show that leads to the throwing that really makes it suck. First, it starts with your stomach performing a gold medal gymnastics routine. Second, you have to get up slowly lest the surprise inside comes up early. Next, you have to get to the toilet while trying to hold down the barf. If you're particularly strong willed, you might even be able to swallow it a couple times. Finally, after you make it to the toilet you can experience your last meal all over again in reverse. Bon apetit! Make sure you finish puking everything out because return trips are always harder than your first one.

It comes between the crippling pain, or the diarrhea vomiting, or even worse, everything combined. When you have a crippling pain and then you vomit and it ends up coming out both ways.

Mine would be when I was about 6 I was helping move my mom and I. My grandmother and grandfather were also helping us move and only being 6 my help was rather limited. Well it was a hot day but I wasn't sick when we started but about half way through the move I began to vomit rather violently.

My grandmother made me sit and got me some sprite to drink, but I kept it up, she eventually got a thermometer to check my temp which was about 102. They rushed me to the hospital, where I clinically died, my heart stopped beating and what not.

Well I had apparently had dehydrated rather fast and my body had shut down, but I'm here now and its all good.

My worst was the first time I ever had a kidney stone. There was no warning, I went to bed feeling fine, and woke in the middle of the afternoon (I was working nightshift at the time) feeling like I had been shot in the side - it was utter fucking agony. It was also utterly terrifying as I hadn't a clue what was happening to me. A couple of days in hospital and I was A-OK though.

I got a really harsh flu just before hopping onto a plane. I was hallucinating, and they were showing the movie 300 on the flight. As a consequence I kept fading in and out, having terrific visions of angry bearded men shouting around me.

I don't remember, actually. I'm rarely sick, and when I am it's nothing that bad. So I guess this means around the corner I'm going to be smacked in the face with a horrible disease because I said that.

Anyway the worst it gets for me is headaches. I can't stand them and the only way I can get rid of them is to go to sleep, so it's kind of annoying when I have a headache at noon.
